Another one of our members says the cashback offered made taking out AA breakdown value for money, while others state their cashback was paid out within the timeframe or had tracked within minutes of making a purchase, with one commenting: “Not the first time I have used TCB (TopCashback) with AA - 100% record, no issues.”

Customers leaving reviews on Trustpilot, where they have a three-star rating, praise them for being prompt and careful, as well as attending call-outs and fixing problems quickly, with one saying they “never failed to impress”.

Someone describes how they had only called for advice about an issue and the AA sent someone out to fix the problem, while another says their car was back on the road within 40 minutes of calling for assistance. Another positive seems to be the fact that membership gives you discounts, while you can gain access to offers via the website.

DO NOT TRUST THE AA THEY DID NOT PAY ME. TOOK 6 MONTHS TO SAY I DID NOT QUAILIFY. BUT I DID. DO NOT TRUST GO TO R.A.C ALWAYS PAY.

The £50 was why I went with the AA. Didn't track, manual claim not completed. Really disappointed with this. Autonational Breakdown Cover seem to have decent reviews and offer the same service for a fraction of the price (plus cashback that tracks).

Bought cover in August 2011, took until May 25th 2012 for them to come back and say they'd decided to decline it. No reason given, just decided not to pay. I wish I could do the same back to them and see how they feel.

Would not go near the aa again. As with other people who have commented I met every criteria to receive cashback but after initially tracking my claim changed to zero. When I queried this with aa they told me that they have no dealings with topcashback!! Avoid!!!!

Be very careful with cashback from the AA. I took cover out in January spending over £100 on cover (this is very expensive compared to other providers but with the promise of £50 cashback I thought good value). Cashback initially did not track so submitted a claim with topcashback who then managed to track, then for no apparent reason this then went to £0 payable. Again contacted topcashback this time the response was there must be a good reason that I did not qualify however they were unable to tell me why! In all I now have a very expensive breakdown cover (you had to pay the year in advance to qualify). Avoid I know I followed every condition to qualify for cashback.

Bought cover end of November 2011 estimated payable date was 29 February 2012 became payable 2 April 2012 so only a short while longer than expected, very pleased.

I PURCHASED BREAKDOWN COVER IN OCTOBER AND AFTER WAITING TILL FEBRUARY FOR IT TO BECOME PAYABLE I SUBMITTED A SUPPORT TICKET TO TCB, WHO TOLD ME IT WOULD BECOME PAYABLE BY THE END MARCH, ....IM STILL WAITING ..

After waiting 3 months for cashback to be paid, AA declined to pay and cashback was reduced from £19 to zero. There was no justification for this and I will never deal with AA again due to this experience.

AA transaction didn't track, then did, then was refused and changed to zero, now awaiting another query. There's no way I'll be dealing with these clowns again.

I took out breakdown cover and The AA do offer a very good service, and to me they are the fourth emergency service. The cash back was £50 on a product that was already on offer (for roadside normal cost £54.50 + Home start normal cost £55.55 and Relay £59.73) normal total cost £169.78 discounted by the AA to £99.00 then top cash back of £50 received. So all in all full cover at a low cost. I took it out in September 2011 and have requested payment today. I last checked tcb about a month ago. So it takes a good few months but it is well worth the wait. Always nudge tcb after a few months if your concerned about the delay.

Bought breakdown cover in July, with expected cashback of £42. After a couple of months the cashback amount was changed to £0.00 by the AA. I submitted a claim and it was finally available and paid in full in February. Frustrating service by the AA. Well handled and good service by Top Cashback. Patience required.
