Easy Peasy to get cash back on flights
I simply used the website Top Cash Back to access Air Canada's website when booking my flights and was delighted to receive £20 per person cash back!

reluctant to issue cashback when earned
Air Canada is reluctant to honour cashback when earned and often requires a complaint before things get resolved. It should be defaulted in favour of the purchaser, who has handed significant sums over to Air Canada for a ticket.

It's not an actual offer of cashback, they don't pay out. And they take more than 180 days so you can't challenge it.

Cashback tracked then declined
The cashback was declined and I see that they have added that cashback will not be paid on basic fares. It did not say that when I booked it as I always check the conditions before booking so adding that and then declining the claim is not fair.
Very disappointed.
