Nightmare
HAD A PROBLEM AS SOON AS I PURCHASED THE ITEM AND PUT THE CLAIM IN FOR CASHBACK FROM ARGOS. ARGOS ONLY ATTRACT THE CONSUMER AND DECLINE THE CASHBACK ONCE CLAIM. I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN FROM ARGOS THROUGH CASHBACK WEB LINK, IT WAS REALLY NICE OF CASHBACK CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO ALLOCATED THE CASHBACK TO MY ACCOUNT EVEN THOUGH ARGOS DECLINED THE CASHBACK. THANKS AGAIN TO CASHBACK CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU ARE BRILLIANT.

Claim denied
No cashback received. Lodged a claim with Topcashback but Argos say I didn't go through the cashback site which is simply not true. Not topcashbacks fault.

Argos did not pay the cashback I should have received as a new customer. The merchant did not follow their terms of agreement. Not recommended for this reason.

A couple of years ago they stopped doing cash back but have now returned and have had no problems with payouts.
On my regular list to check if there is anything I need.

Cashback Rejected
Used Argos a number of times for small purchases @ 1% cashback. They worked - eventually - so I was reeled in for a large purchase. First decent cashback (10% on £480) rejected - claimed that purchase was through another merchant even though TopCashback have the click-through recorded. Avoid.

Cashback was not confirmed
I paid after clicking the link. The only option was to pay online and collect. The only reason I used Argos was that I was getting my device sooner than from other retailers but I ended up losing cashback. Later my cashback was not awarded with a very unuseful comment "Another marketing channel was credited with the sale" which is very ridiculous as I just paid in full using a credit card. Anyway topcashback was very helpful and later awarded the points looking at the purchase.
