I purchased an Asda multi-trip European travel insurance via a comparison website. The maximum trip duration was quoted at 90 days which was perfect for our needs. I accepted the quote and paid the full amount. However, several days later I was contacted by Asda who stated that they couldn't honour the full 90 days because I was over 65. The best they could offer was 31 days maximum, which I refused and asked for the policy to be cancelled. I have just gone onto another comparison website and Asda are still offering 90 days of cover for my identical quotation! The company really needs to get their act together. I am investigating the legal position as they had already issued my policy and I had paid the premium. It seems that the customers are expected to help contribute to the company cashflow. Suggest you do not buy travel insurance from this dreadful company. I will not use them again. I have no idea when I will get my money back and will report back if I don't.

still awaiting my payment from Asda, my policy will expire in a couple of months and they have still not payed out.
brought my annual policy in February, can you believe it!
i would in no way, shape or form recommend you use Asda Money to purchase an insurance policay, pay the extra and use someone that will actually pay the cashback!

Single trip policy bought in June. Still waiting - and it's only £3.50!!! Won't be shopping in Asda in a hurry if this is their attitude to customer service.

don't do it!! i brought my policy in February and i am still awaiting the cashback. TC have chased them several times and as yet it is still unpaid. you are better to pay a couple of quid more and go with another provider.
Asda why can't you just pay up the tenner, my policy will expire before you deem to pay me my money!!

Went to confirmed reasonably quickly but then estimated pay out date was 30 Jun 12, its now 16th September 12 and still pending!! Come on Asda its only a tenner, pay up please. Slowest progress of any cashback I have had to date.
