Cashback declined
Avis need removing from this site..I will not use them again as my cashback was declined yet again..They do not deserve the 1 star rating.

Declined cashback but I now know why at least
Like many people on the review of Avis, i had my cashback declined. In my case, and I suspect in many cases it is because the booking was for outside of europe - ( usa for me). The terms are clear from TCB that bookings outside EMEA are not valid. I just forgot to check, So TCB were clear but shame that Avis aren't paying on all bookings hence the 2 star.

DO NOT EXPECT CASHBACK
As per all the other pages of reviews. None payment of cashback. Lodged a claim and was told that I “Did not meet terms set by retailer”. Yeah right. Take them off the topcashback site. Its a con.

Never tracks and never pays
I have always had to make manual claims and as with previous claims the latest two have been declined for "not being seen". I clear cookies etc so smell a rat here. One star given as not possible to include zero. Come on TCB and Avis, you should be better than this.

No payment of cashback
No payment of cashback. It was one of the only reasons I went with AVIS.
Not impressed with anything about AVIS to be honest. Charged extra fuel charge (tank was 99% full when I returned it). Their website often doesn't work properly.
Use other car hire if you want hassle-free.

I clicked through from my TopCashback account and booked my Avis hire for collection from St John’s airport in Newfoundland. Avis have declined to pay the cash back worth over £90, looking to cancel the booking with them.

This was a straight forward booking - a city pick up returning to an airport. No discount codes used. Avis declined the cashback and Topcashback have said there is nothing else to do. Should have booked via a travel website - more reliable. Don't' book direct!

Never paid
I've had multiple transactions with Avis over the years. They have all tracked successfully when I made the initial reservation.
However, I've never yet had one progress to "Confirmed", so have yet to be paid.

Car rental completed but Avis decline cash back , still pending
Transaction was booked in Feb and completed, paid in full in aril . Got decline message from Avis without valid reasons . Filed claim in May . Still waiting for a reply . I booked Avis not others only becuz they offer the highest cash back at that moment.
