Bee Inspired clothing was launched in 2013 by former professional footballers Steven Robb and Mark Corcoran as a bedroom start-up business which began with a range which consisted of just four T-shirts.

The brand was set up using contacts made when Robb was playing football in Thailand with the aim of creating a new, up and coming clothing line. Left-winger Robb had spent more than 10 years playing football professionally, both in Scotland and abroad.

He began his career with Dundee, for whom he made 83 appearances, before moving to neighbours Dundee United and then St Mirren, where he met Corcoran. Following a spell playing for Thai Port in Thailand, he returned to Scotland with Brechin City and Montrose before injury problems forced him to retire in 2015 at the age of 32.

Attacker Corcoran played for Hamilton Academicals and St Mirren, for whom he both made almost 80 appearances, before going on to represent Partick Thistle, Ross County, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer.
