Who should I book my staycation with?
Haven: Up to 5.25% cashback
Haven have created something called the “Haven Hideaway” which provides you with all the fun of the great outdoors but to comply with government coronavirus rules it is without access to the usual activities, restaurants, pools or entertainments.
You can still pick up your essentials from the well-stocked on-park supermarket, the launderette is open, plus plenty of take away food options. Enjoy it all while staying in the comfort of your very own self-catered, self-contained accommodation.
Haven recognise that we’re all living in unprecedented and uncertain times, which is why they have created “The Coronavirus Book with Confidence Guarantee” which means you can book your holiday safe in the knowledge that you are covered if the Coronavirus Pandemic interrupts your plans. The guarantee is free for all bookings in 2020 and 2021.
Sykes Cottages: 3.15% cashback
Sykes Cottages allows you to book independent, self-contained accommodation from the 3rd of July for bookings in the UK, Ireland and Scotland and from the 12th July for bookings in Wales. So you can still get your dose of the summer holidays.
If a customer books a holiday and must subsequently amend their holiday date due to government-imposed restrictions which affect that booking, then Sykes Cottages will waive their usual amendment fees, allowing you to reschedule for a time suited to you.
Booking.com: 3% cashback
Did you know that you can book self-contained accommodation with booking.com? It’s true, they don’t just offer hotels, they have a whole host of cottages and self-contained accommodations across Great Britain.
Plus, they have 15% or more off stays between now and 4th January 2021 so you can bag yourself a real bargain with this one.
Where should I go?
Whitby
The beautiful seaside town of Whitby has seen a lot of tourist bookings recently and if you’ve never been before then we’d definitely recommend it. It’s on the doorstep of the North Yorkshire Moors so it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside, the perfect place to escape to and explore.
Torquay
Torquay is a seaside resort town on the English Channel in Devon, south west England. Known for beaches such as Babbacombe and cliffside Oddicombe, its coastline is nicknamed the English Riviera. There’s plenty to see and do in and around Torquay and is the ideal spot to soak up some British sun.
Newquay
Newquay is a town on the north coast of Cornwall. It’s known for sandy Fistral and Watergate Bay beaches, where waves from the Atlantic Ocean create strong surf - perfect if you want to try your hand at surfing. The areas surrounding Newquay are equally as beautiful, with lots of hidden gems to explore such as Trevose Head Lighthouse and Carnewas at Bedruthan Steps.
