its probably obvious but don't cancel the booking if the hotel owner tells you to on arrival as you won't get the cash back. We booked a week in Budapest only for the hotel owner to show us a upgraded room that was available if we paid a little extra. After we agreed then came the terms that we must pay in cash (to avoid tax I guess) and that we had to cancel the original booking on our end which he did using our device on their wifi after we weren't sure exactly how.

Very easy. Just login to Top cash Back and use the Booking.com link. Reserve rooms and pay as normal. Cashback is received into your account automatically. Simple.
