Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting cashback?
  • Registration plate must not have previously been entered onsite within the last 30 days to be eligible for Cashback.
  • Your vehicle must be sold and collected within 60 days beginning from the day of your listing to be eligible for Cashback.
  • If you, or the car dealer, cancel the sale and collection of the car before cashback is deposited in your TopCashback account, then you will not be eligible to receive Cashback. If the sale and collection is cancelled, and you wish to re-enter the Carwow auction process, your car will be relisted and you would not be eligible for cashback on a subsequent sale and collection.
  • Car listings that don't convert into a car sold will be automatically declined after 60 days of being generated.
  • Cashback is eligible for customers located in the UK only.
  • Cashback issued for personal sale of a car on Carwow only. Cashback will not be issued when buying a car.
  • If your car does not meet our dealer marketplace eligibility criteria (including but not limited to the following: it is a scrap, old, rare or high mileage vehicle, has major damages, is not a car (e.g. is a motorbike), has major mechanical faults, is an insurance write off), you will not be eligible for cashback. In these instances where your car is not eligible to sell via our dealer network, we may present an option to sell with another 3rd party car buying service, but we will not be able to grant cashback for these sales.
  • Carwow will only validate one cashback transaction per registration plate. If you wish to make multiple car sales, please begin each journey from TopCashback.
  • To qualify for cashback you must be a new customer to Carwow. If you have already created a Carwow account or started a listing with Carwow and then go to TopCashback to follow the link from TopCashback to Carwow before making the final listing you will not qualify for cashback.
  • Use of a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
What else is essential?
  • Cashback will only be paid to members who have BACS as their registered TopCashback payment method.
  • Carwow will only validate one cashback transaction per registration plate. If you wish to make multiple car sales, please begin each journey from TopCashback. (Applicable if we also launch another cashback offer through cashback sites)
  • Carwow's 'Sell your car' Cashback is available through TopCashback on genuine, tracked transactions, and they must be completed immediately and wholly online, not via the carwow App.
  • Cashback will only be paid if we are able to link the sale of your vehicle to the TopCashback website. This means that you must click the TopCashback link, go straight through to the carwow's website, register your car plate, input your details, and complete a listing.
  • Cashback may initially track at £0.00 in your TopCashback account and uplift on validation.
  • This programme is being monitored. TopCashback members transacting fraudulently with this retailer will have their membership terminated immediately and may have their details passed to the authorities for further investigation.
  • Carwow's 'Sell your car' Cashback can be earned simply by clicking through to the merchant and shopping as normal.
  • Any purchases made on the carwow's website via the TopCashback link will be subject to the TopCashback Terms and Conditions (https://www.TopCashback.co.uk/Terms) and carwow's Terms and Conditions which can be found on (https://www.carwow.co.uk/terms-and-conditions)
  • To qualify for cashback, you must come directly from the link on TopCashback to the Carwow website and create a listing which results in a successful sale and collection. If you go off the Carwow site and come back later to finish the listing (e.g. to upload photos), you must return either by following the same link via an email link or directly onto the Carwow site). If you go to the Carwow website, start your listing, then go to TopCashback and follow a link to Carwow, your listing will not be eligible for cashback. If you have come to the Carwow website via another website before the link on TopCashback, your listing will not be eligible for cashback.

  • You must ensure your browsers and devices allow the proper tracking. If you have ad-blocking software, privacy settings, or browser extensions that interfere with or block Carwow tracking tools, including but not limited to Amplitude, your listing will not be tracked. Consequently, your listing will not be eligible for cashback.
  • Should your cashback fail to track automatically, please submit a 'Missing Cashback' claim within 100 days of your order.
  • Cashback is calculated for the item(s) price only, not including VAT, delivery or other fees.
What to do when
  • In the event of any queries about your Cashback, please get in touch with TopCashback Customer Support as the car dealer or carwow will not be able to deal with this type of query.
  • Cashback transactions should be confirmed in your TopCashback account within 90 - 180 days of your policy purchase date. Please note that it can take a further 2-3 months for the payment to be processed before Cashback is withdrawable from your account. Car listings that don't convert into a car sold will be automatically declined after 60 days of being generated.
