DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!
Cash my fone managed to do exactly the same as what they do with everyone.. Quote higher than competitors and then reduce 15% because of 'wear and tear' and 'scratches'. Bear in mind my Sony Xperia Z is 10 months old, is immaculate and has had screen and back protectors as well as a full leather case around the phone.
I did get a reply through 2 emails, one saying they received the phone and the other reducing the offer.. after that, NOTHING! I tried calling them several times on 3 numbers to no answer, emailed many times and no replies either. As I lived just outside of London, I decided to go to their address as its says 'Drop in any time'.
I went to the registered address: Lombard Road, South Wimbledon and guess what? They've moved!!! There new address is 12 Deer Road, South Wimbledon. I went in to a reception and asked to see someone.. Then whilst I was waiting another man was there hoping to collect his phone like me. A man came and took order numbers, then disappeared. He returned and told me money was in my account and they was giving me £25 cash for inconvenience however there was still no money in my account. Then he disappeared again and whilst away the man I was waiting with CONVENIENTLY got the money in his account. Then the man returned and I said you have my phone in your hand and he replied 'Oh yeah..'
He handed the phone over and I said can you show me where the wear and teat is? Can you tell me why you haven't replied to my emails and my calls? Why is your company a disgrace? Can I speak to the owner? Guess what? HE HAD NO ANSWER AND DIDN'T REPLY.
Today I received an email apologising that I didn't want to accept the revised offer and that they would send my phone back.. Even though I collected my phone on Friday!!
THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES AND DISGRACE. IT IS QUITE UNBELIEVABLE THAT THEY ARE STILL ALLOWED TO BE IN BUSINESS AND ARE STILL TAKING PEOPLES PHONES. KEEP PRESSING THEM AND CALLING, EMAILING, AND TAKE

I sent 3 phones to them, the 2 cheap ones were allocated the amount they had offered. The HTC smartphone, which was in perfect order and not a scratch on it, was reduced. I accepted this as couldn't be bothered to get them back and go through it all again with someone else.
2 stars because at least I did get a cheque from them. They rejected my Topcashback claim. As only a couple of pounds it's not worth the time contesting it.

Cash My Fone have received my handset but there ends the contact, they do not respond to emails nor do they answer the phone, so currently I have absolutely no idea what is going on, after being promised a cheque within five days they have now had my phone for ten and still nothing received, rubbish!!

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IT IS A SCAM. THEY TAKE YOUR PHONE THEN OFFER YOU REDUCE PRICE DUE TO "WEAR AND TEAR" THEN DONT PAY YOU AT ALL ! Never answer emails or the phone. Absolute shafters. Have informed trading standards and topcashback but I note they are still being supported by them and are still in operation so nothing has been done...

Sent my phone to them they told me payment would be initiated within 48hrs this was on sept 4th it is now the 21st and still i have not received any payment from them i have phoned and emailed several times without any response do not use this company

Sent in a phone to them which had been kept in a case since day one, then received an email saying that my quote would be reduced by 15% due to wear and tear. I refused this and my phone was sent back within a week.
It took them several days to confirm my phone had been received, they don't respond to emails and phones rarely answered. Not the best recycler out there and wouldn't be my first choice next time.

Have used other firms but they offered the best cashback. However they stated that the phone was faulty when they received it. It was working fine when I sent it so either damaged in post or they're pulling a fast one! Asked them to return it so will see if they are true to their word or if they drag their feet, or even lose it. Not a good experience so far!
