This merchant will not pay out. I would not recommend anyone use this merchant. I bought an Ipad and fridge with instore collect and my payment was delayed and now suddenly has vanished and turned into £0.00 Thanks Comet you won't get my business again.

This is developing into a common theme. Cashback on my "collect in store" tracked fine and just outside 100 days it reverted to £0.00. Original transaction was great, product is perfect so why do Comet then foul things up by declining the £9.00 commission. Hero to Zero stuff. There is plenty of electrical choice in my town & Comet has dropped itself out of the consideration list by their short-sighted approach.

Great customer service and very easy, the only complaint I have is that the site crashed a few times when I was trying to place my order. However once placed very pleased with service.

Comet's customer service is very disgusting. I placed my order on 17/2/11, then on 18/2/11, again on 21/2/11, and they still cannot process it. They have very rude staff, nobody ever contact you if there is any problem with the order, you just have to keep waiting, and when you call them they simply say, "Your order has been cancel for such and such reason". Please anyone who read this don't order anything from Comet.

Cashback tracked OK initially and sat at "pending", but then dropped to "£0.00 payable" about 3 months later. Topcashback did let me re-open the case (it was just outside the 100 day time window), but never managed to get the cash. The product and delivery were fine, but I'd suggest you buy elsewhere if the cashback is important to you.

Disappointingly, despite my glowing recommendation on 06/02/11 I have since had an email saying the product is not in stock and no date for when available. I telephoned company (using no to 0800 site) and was passed through to section dealing with refunds who arranged for refund in three working days. I was dealt with very well and efficiently. Have now purchased from Focus, base price is cheaper

The shop where I tried to collect one that I had purchased online refused to let me have it despite the website statign that it was within the toem allowed.They then tried to sell me the product at full price so I had to go home and reorder at the discounted price and then go back to the shop to collect. The first shop assistant was appallingly unhelpful,the second was a delight to buy from. Better training,better coordination of what it states on the website and what the shops know about. Get your act together other shops are better.

Like a lot of people on here it tracked really quick , confirmed within a month then when payable went to zero. it seems comet do not like paying out with collect and reserve purchases, lodged claim with tcb, we will see what happens ,
