Cash back tracked in less than 24 hours, on full cost of purchase including VAT & additional services after discounts. I was really pleased with discounts as they accepted both the code for 7% off all orders over £600 and 5% off all Kitchen & Home products over £250. Gave me 5% discount on the appliance and 7% discount on the appliance (less the 5%) and on the recycling charge and the fitting charge. Cheapest deal outside started at £606 plus £80 + VAT for fitting & recycling & I needed someone else here to unload and I needed to co-ordinate. My cost after cashback £644

Watch out for Click and Collect payments actually being made as I had it tracked right until it became due and then it went to 0 payable. Not happy at all as this seems like sharp practice from Comet. If it doesn't appear I won't be using them again.

Got a very good price on a printer from Comet and cashback made it even better. Having said that, my iron died yesterday so - due to the urgency - I made an in-store purchase. The in-store service is average at best and the new iron has got to go back as the temperature light doesn't work. Fair enough - it happens, but overall impression is distinctly mediocre and I would have no hesitation considering alternative suppliers in future.

Cashback tracked correctly initially but went to £0.00 at payment stage.
Met all criteria for cashback so also raising claim via TCB. Will update of outcome.

The correct value of the cashback was tracked correctly at the pending stage but when it actually came to be paid it got set to £0.00. Met all terms of the deal to be entitled to the cashback, am now chasing it down through a claim.

One month gone since my last comment - the transaction still hasn't been confirmed, let alone paid! Looks like 2011 is going to be just as bad as 2010 for delayed payments. Why can't we be told more reliable payment dates when we make the decision to buy?

Very good sevice from comet, received a phonecall next day to confirm delivery address (as was sent to another address to ensure someone would be able to receive it) Thought this was very good to prevent fraud etc. Can even select delivery day. Good service from both comet and top cashback, tracked straight away.
