Quick to track and become payable. Relieved when item was delivered as the site was a bit strange to say the least - was trying to buy a TV as a gift but site was unable to accept different card and delivery address. Rang them only to discover they had ordered 2 TV's. Frustrating but all turned out well in the end! Will use tham again.

Great delivery, good cashback, but terrible after sales service. Bought a Proline FridgeFreezer (much against my better judgment as their own product line has a bad reputation, but I needed a particular size at the time). Three months before guarantee ran out, compressor started making a knocking noise. Service depatment responded with only one question - was the temperature still ok - which, of course it was. So basically - put up with the noise as it is 'normal'... When any engineer with an HNC would tell you that it is a bearing going. So now I have a train going through the kitchen every time the compressor switches on. (Thankfully they paid for the phone calls as I used the 'saynoto870' phone number on a Saturday morning). In complete contrast to another white goods supplier T****, who, when told that two of the hot plates on their cooker were showing slight signs of rust, replaced them next day. Guess who will get an order when my Fridge Freezer finally packs in (or I get fed up with the steam train coming through the kitchen)

What a farce! Comet were absolutely useless when I purchased a washing maching online for my parents who are in their eighties. The delivery was confirmed for Sunday and when they didn't turn up we contacted them and they claimed it was a mix up between our bank and themselves. The onus was on us to call to ask where the goods were and if we hadn't got in touch we would still be waiting for them to contact us. When asked to knock off £10 (which I think was reasonable) for the inconvenience, phone calls etc for my elderly parents they declined ...so we went elsewhere. Being told by Comet there was nothing they could do about the non arrrival of goods just about summed up their customer care ....rubbish!
