oh my goodness ... my cashback from a purchase in December 2010 has gone from pending to confirmed ... happy august 2011! I wonder how long until it becomes payable????

Finally got my cashback from a purchase made in January. The only way I managed to do it was finding a thread on moneysavingexpert.com forums where lots of people complained about lack of cashback with Comet and Claire from TCB posted in there asking for dates and receipt numbers.
I sent an enquiry and headed it up for the attention of Claire, I posted the details of my receipt (date, time, all the codes and numbers on it), then a few weeks later it finally changed from pending to confirmed. Then this week it became payable. Lovely, but lots of effort.

Tracked quickly on reserve and collect. Paybable within the month. All in all, excellent service. Staff were a bit clueless as to what I'd reserved, but they got there in the end.

I looked at product in comet came home reserved it on line went down to shop picked it up by the time i came home cash back was on my account cant do better than that £7.50 so easy thank you t.c.b

Very swift process I believe from purchase to getting cashback confirmed. No problems at all with this purchase and very happy with product - iPad2 and this is the only place I could find the one I wanted in stock. Overall I am extremely pleased with experience. Didn't need to use Customer Service so did not rate at this time. Will use again.

Comet have finally paid up, from the purchase in Feb 2011. I guess better late than never. The purchased tracked OK from the start, but very slow on paying up. Be patient they will pay up eventually

As per many previous comments, tracked the Cashback, and then suddenly it went to zero!!!! Been querying this since February, as the purchase was made in December 2010.
Disgusting service, will not be using Comet cashback again.
