Bought an Ipad via the Click and Collect service. Very good service from Comet collecting it, but a waste of time getting any cashback. Transaction from early May is still not tracked, raised a query with TCB and they say it can be 2-3 months before they hear anything, basically a 'don't call us we'll call you' reply. Pretty poor performance and not holding my breath on ever getting the cashback.

So far no cashback on 2 orders completed back in February and March. Payment still at the confirmed stage, judging by some comments they may not come, especially with Comet experiencing 'economic issues' of late. Well from now on I won't be helping their turnover and will choose a retailer with caution be more attentive to the various reviews on various cashback sites.
Fingers crossed TCB chase them up with success. Will report back in time

Today after 6 months, my previously tracked amount 0f £6.76p became payable as £0.00p!
Absolutely useless retailer for non payment of cashback, so certainly wont ever be using them again!Topcashback are looking into this for me,so hopefully i will eventually get my cashback,but who knows! AVOID Comet at all costs!!

Clare from the topcashback staff has published the following advice on the MSE website to everyone who has a Comet transaction still sat at pending from months ago:
With Comet, we do seem to have a small number of transactions which have simply not progressed from the pending stage. In order to try to resolve these, if members can supply their Order/Receipt number and if applicable, their Reservation number, we will then forward this information over and bring these to a conclusion

Ordered online for pickup and the store hadn't even got the item out of the stock room (so much for it being quicker to order in advance) also took them a few attempts to actually locate the correct item.
This was back in March and I'm still waiting for my cashback to move out of the 'pending' stage. Starting to think I will never see my £4 cashback :(

All brilliant as far as service, delivery etc but cashback just isnt happening at all...paid in March and now at end of June they havent even acknowledged- wish I had gone for another retailer via topcashback as I know all my other purchases resulted in cashback. Wouldnt use Comet again as I feel cheated!

Purchased March - still waiting cashback to become confirmed - however tcb pages still seem to show cashback comes payable witin 5 weeks which looking at other's experiences is not true with a lot of people ... tcb should update the stats to show it takes much longer... hopefully mine doesn't take the 8 months others have waited

My cashback has become payable today after purchasing my tumble drier in October 2010. To be honest I saved a lot of money on the tumble drier so the cashback is a big bonus, even so 8 months seems a long time to wait for it!!!

I am today one very happy person. Transaction 14.11.10 became payable at last on 16.6.11 - 7 months 2 days! I dropped TCB another enquiry last night as my four weeks of waiting for payment had passed. They replied today saying they had chased someone and I looked on my account to see I can now get my £20.
Good luck to all you out there who uses the Comet cash back, I hope your experience is a lot smoother than mine was.

Further to my comment 1 June. I am still waiting for the transaction to turn to payable. TCB told me to wait up to 4 weeks from 18 May as the retailer (Comet) would pay in the next payment batch. Guess what? 4 weeks is up on 15 June, 2 days away. Will they.... won't they..... ? I wish this would all just get sorted as I am way fed up with this.

If Comet are this bad for most of the reviews on here in regards to cashback not arriving or very very late, then i shant bother using them again,wast of time, when i could of got cashback from another more reliable retailer!!

Cashback stuck in pending since November 2010. It tracked quickly but no progress since then. POOR cashback experience from COMET. Plenty of other retailers to choose from when buying next time round.

Update to my post 18 May 2011.
Transaction is still stuck at confirmed. Well I suppose I shouldn't expect anything else until my four weeks is up. That will make a total of 7 months If it gets paid when suggested.
