Bought a fragile item which was "display boxed" which was meant to be a gift.
Debenhams put it in a plastic bag with no protective bubble wrap or other support so the display box arrived battered and I was unable to give this as a present.
It looked like it had been kicked around!
I have since returned this for an exchange instore.
Debenhams Customer Service said "it's a busy time of year and we're forced to get things out quickly" NOT the right attitude! Other retailers manage to protectively box items that need it.
Won't be buying from them online again due to this.

The cashback tracked fine - just waiting for payment. Was a little disappointed that retailer could not complete full order. Advised item was out of stock but this was not mentioned on website

Goods damaged in post due to surprisingly poor packaging. I've never had this problem with other retailers such as Amazon and John Lewis.
