As a ferry company, they're solid. But having followed their guidelines to the letter - cleared cookies, clicked through, completed transaction all in one browser session - no cashback tracked. When they reviewed the missing cashback submission, they declined as "retailer guidelines not followed". Looks more like trying to get out of paying 4% of a hefty booking. A reminder always to see cashback as a bonus if it comes through, and not deciding which retailers to use based on the cashback. So all good, but just disappointed.

Consistently refusing payout
I've used DFDS via Topcashback on several occasions - on each occasion except 1 they have refused the cash back payout, using different excuses, including that cookies may not have been reset; used a wrong offer, etc. I think they are using Topcashback to attract customers without any intention of making cashback payments. Annoyed

DFDS cancelled my cashback after waiting a long time, apparently because the transaction did not track (it did, I was very careful). What I think happened: due to delays at Dover, I missed my scheduled ferry and was put on another later one. Mabye my inital booking was edited on their system and that made it cancelleable. Very disappointed that the cashback was cancelled.

I always have problems with DFDS. They always find a way to decline despite everything being done by the rules. DFDS is a very unreliable merchant.
