Took this out over 11 months ago and still no cashback. Nothing received and nothing heard from topcashback either. As always, buy based on the product and cost and regard cashback as a bonus - not part of a guaranteed package - because direct line don't honour the commitment. As for the insurance it was good value and thankfully never had to call upon it; but as you would expect has gone up over 25% for a renewal so time to move on.

This has been a very negative experience.My house insurance started on 07/04/2013,then had to wait 90 days "on ice" until June before submission to Direct Line.I expected confirmation quite soon after this,but my cashback is still pending in January 2014 despite being re-submitted in October 2013.I think it's time TCB sorted their act with this company

Waiting for the cash back since March 2013. Topcashback customer service is chasing my cash back but still waiting for it. I won't recommend direct line cash back offers.

Cashback has not progressed further than pending since March 2013. Have sent support tickets to tcb but told in line with other payments!
Cashback offered good, if you can get it!

Took 5 months but received £35 cashback in the end. Worth it as i normally get my home insurance with directline anyway

Not great experience - DL website only geared for standard stuff (needed musical instrument included)instead referring me to Helpdesk - big price difference and hard sell.
Finally got insurance 19 Apr 2013 with £35 Cashback promised. Claim was 'on ice' as Direct Line impose 90 day restriction.
Various 'not our fault' updates from TCB but nudges now going unnoticed - end Oct 13 and still waiting...not good.
