Clicked through TCB in March 2013 making a purchase and never received any cashback. I reported it to TCB and the merchant failed to reply. It's now Oct 2013 the merchant has finally issued an announcement that they will not offer any cashback due to (quote): "Another marketing channel was credited with sale". What utter rubbish!

Just the same as a previous comment - ordered in December 12 - now July 13 - and still pending - went to chase but now its says I am out of time!!! not a happy bunny

I placed an order in December 2012 for two pairs of glasses. The order tracked fine. But it has remained on pending ever since! It's now July 2013 and still no movement. My advice is don't expect any cashback.

Purchase made at the beginning of December, now it's the beginning of June and my transaction hasn't even been confirmed never mind getting the cash back promised. Furthermore I've just read that Top cash back will only chase claims under 100 days old. Oh, the specs, well even though they were quite pricey they're cheap and nasty. I'll be sticking to the optician from now on.

I ordered my new glasses with the Platinium super packeage for the "thinnest lenses available" on the 18th December 2012, they finally arrived on the 9th Feburary 2013. Only to find the so called Thinnest lenses available were twice as thick as my Specsaver ones, 5mm against 2.5mm, which had the same perscription and size of lenses. So I returned them because I thought the wrong lenses had been fitted, only to be told they were the correct "thinnest possible lenses" but they could send them back to the lab to have "the thinnest possible lenses" made thinner !! I get them back 8th march, the lenses were slightly thinner but at the expense of the perscription. I can't see through them now. I have been told they will try putting more lenses in, or give me a refund less the price of the lenses that were clearly wrong, but I have to pay for their mistakes / incompetency. and after reading of the problems people have getting refunded, I suspect I will have the same problems. Don't risk your eyesight with these clowns.

This is the most horrible store I ve ever dealt with. Their displayed products are out of stock, they treat customers badly and sell glasses of vwry poor quality.. Avoid !

I have never been treated so badly by any company in my entire life as this one. Firstly when I ordered my glasses costing £166 I based my trust on their 30 day Money Back Guarantee. Full refund if not happy for whatever reason. Well I was not happy. The frame was like something from a toy shop and the varifocal unwearable. I have worn vari- focals for years now so I am well used to them. I promptly returned them and cancelled my second pair before they were made. This was over two months ago and I not recieved a penny back. They have now changed their web site saying they do not give refunds on returned lens so I am only entitled to a part refund (not even had this) I have had to contact trading standards and request a charge back from my credit card. Direct Sight customer services must train their staff to tell untruths because the excuses are unbelievable and totally dishonoust. My tip to any person thinking about buying from this company is DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM.

Ordered from these people and waited some time before email saying had dispatched items. Dispatch email only cited one item, no mention of second pair of specs. Tried to contact when item had not been delivered 3 days later, they said it would be next day delivery, only to be met with a stone wall saying no-one was available to discuss the order. I was told on 3 occasions that someone would call back. Needless to say they didn't. I have noticed a number of people have had the same experience. All I can say is avoid this retailer at all costs. I would be very careful using this company.

I ordered reglazing of a pair of designer frames several weeks ago but they still haven't arrived. The company CLAIM that Royal Mail have lost them and are carrying out an 'investigation' but I'm sorry to say I think that's rubbish. Nobody is offering me compensation and I'm having to do all the running. I'm really fed up and I won't be going back.

The customer service at DirectSight is terrible; they are unwilling to help in the event that the glasses do not fit your face properly. They have listed the "Direct Sight Returns Policy" incorrectly on their website, stating that you will receive a refund as long as your items are returned in their original condition. They fail to state (possibly in order to purposefully mislead their customers) that you cannot return lenses that have been made to your prescription. The glasses I ordered were not the correct size for my face and thus I could not see properly with them, but the customer service representative refused to assist me with a full refund, even after a full refund had been guaranteed to me a day after I received the glasses and called the customer service for the first time, in order to be sure I returned them correctly. Do not trust DirectSight with preparing your glasses - they felt very cheap and, should they not fit your face correctly, you will be out of a lot of money. All in all, they are a bad company because their website is deceptive and misleading, saying "easy returns" and then listing incomplete and inaccurate information under their online "returns policy." Beware!

Final comment on this company. Have had to take action to refund my money, am expecting Trading Standards to be involved, and possible Legal Action if I have to. 4 months still nothing, not even decent communication, just every excuse in the book, but never there fault. Be warned, do not go near them.

Ordered end of November for a pair of sunglasses. Never told they were not in stock, kept chasing and 3 weeks later they sent me the wrong pair. Was promised to be given a refund without having to return the glasses but then 1 week after still no refund. Contacted them again but spoke to different people and was told won't get refund unless the wrong glasses are sent back. Treated me like a liar even though their employee offered something he shouldn't. Just basically been messed around for about 6 weeks and they don't seem to care if you are not happy with their service. Will never use again.

ordered on 02/12, now 31/12, nothing yet, have sent 2 emails and no replies at all. On hols now but asking for a refund when I return. never using them again. Basic customer service sucks.
