Terrible company. I booked a rental car at Manchester airport with Easirent. On Arrival, the provider told me they require a British license, even though I'm American and haven't been in the country very long. Nothing mentioned in the T&Cs about this, but they said it's their policy. They cancelled the booking and told me to call EasyCar / Cartrawler for a refund. I did, but they refused on the grounds that I'd already passed the pickup time - well yes, obviously, as there was no way of anticipating this problem until I got to the counter. Completely intransigent, they tried to deflect the issue to my residency... in the end, no legal basis for enforcing their rules, which seem to be invented on-the-fly by the Filipino call center staff, yet no refund. I'm contesting the charge with American Express - maybe they can find a resolution. Won't be booking with EasyCar again. Avoid like the plague

REVIEW WRITTEN 19/12/2014 - Generally speaking, I don't tend to like anything within the "easy" business. However, I've used easyCar in both Switzerland (years ago) and recently twice through TCB and I've found the website to be easy to navigate and straightforward. No longer do they have card fees. It's all really well laid out for customers to use.
As I say, I've used easyCar twice through TCB (31/10/2014 and 06/12/2014) both transactions didn't track within the 14 days I normally wait before opening a ticket, so I will have to wait and see if the cashback follows through. From reading some of the comments, the cashback rate has taken a nose dive unfortunately, currently at 5.05% compared to another review where I read closer to 10% in the past. C'est la vie!

Says it gives 20% off for rentals in Ireland for TCB members but the discount ACTUALLY only equated to 2% in reality when you try it !!VERY misleading !!!NOT impressed !

One year on and still no cash. Had to submit a manual claim and it finally appeared in pending after 11 months. We'll see how long it takes to go to payable.

Purchased car hire in January, never tracked. Claim submitted in Feb. Still nothing. TCB can't do anything apart from wait for easycar to respond, which I doubt they will ever do.

Hire a car for two consecutive weekends at the start of March, now on the 19th of May any my cash back is still not processed despite the estimated date being 25th April. Service is good, but only if your willing to wait for the cash back.

Tried the link couple of times and each time it did not work as experienced by some users here too. Cashback did not track and had to submit a manual claim, which has been "waiting for retailer to respond" for weeks. I would recommend avoiding this retailer. Like the plague.
