Perfectly easy
set up a first direct account through topcashback and recieved the £35 within 1 week. It says to install an app so just open topcashback website on your phone and set up from there to recieve the bonus.

As soon as you click the First Direct link and Apply for an account it tells you to download the app so you cannot complete the transaction online. Meaninh cashback is impossible .

Quickest payout
This was one fo the fastest payouts on this site (approximately 2 weeks). It may take some time to track. I submitted a claim before it tracked automatically, not sure if that had anything to do with it. I was a bit worried because you have to change platforms from the web version to your phone to install, but I think it should be okay if you use the same email address. Make sure to turn off adblocker before you do it!

Asked TCB if a Joint Account qualifies. They shrugged their shoulders...
Gave me a legalistic reply of "there is nothing in the terms that says it doesn't". No surprise that it didn't track, and now I have submitted a claim they put it "on ice" for over two months. Who knows whether it actually will be paid or not? Either way, if it does get paid, don't expect a Joint Account to track easily, you'll have to do some work for it.

Fastest cashback I've ever experienced.
Like others I wasn't sure if it would track as I opened the account with the First Direct app. However money not only tracked but was payable within 7 days. I don't recall any other retailer paying out that fast from this site, and I've been registered 10 years and my earnings are over £1k. Very impressive!

October purchase and still chasing in january
Clicked through and created First Direct account immediately. Transferred through the required funds to qualify that day. Saw TopCashBack had tracked the click through in October and then I spent much of November, December, and January sending nudges. It is only when I opened a support ticket that my cashback "batch" was sent for validation. Been told to maybe wait another 16 weeks. Basically: don't expect this one to track or pay out. Don't let any cashback feature in your expected financial outcome lol
