Awful service when you do actually need them. Now I understand why they are so cheap if they find any excuse not to repsond to a breakdown. Not renewing.

I purchased a complete breakdown policy-a year 'upfront'.!! Tracked almost immediately. Extremely disappointed that after paying by Debit Card for the full year, the cashback is not expected to be paid out until after 8 months-I could understand this time period, if I had paid by installments!!
Even when purchasing the policy, they debited my account for £2.00 more than the actual cost and it took Green Insurance 7 days to refund it!!
Green Insurance are part of Kwik Fit!!

Was due £5 cash back and had £3 back.
I should have taken note of the other reviews that have the same problem instead of just hoping it was now ok.
So they are still doing it. If they wont give you the full cashback, makes you wonder what their service is like.
Plus if you are unlucky enough to break down, watch out if a mechanic goes over the 1 hour mark as you are liable for labor charges at that point.

Fraudulent company. They sent me a text message giving me a policy number and a phone number in case of a breakdown. Then when I did, it turned out that the policy 'wasn't live' so I was charged A FORTUNE for assistance and they wouldn't help or admit that their text meant anything.
Steer clear.

Did not track to start with, submitted missing cashback claim and then it suddenly appeared in the payable column but as 0.00 despite my fulfilling all the criteria. Took it up with topcashback who were great and honoured my claim themselves but the merchant did not - not good!

Update to my comment on the 12/10/10
Top cashback did chase it. Checked today and it has moved from Pending to Confirmed, but gone up from 28p to £2.34 which is the correct ammount based on my transaction.
Hopefully this problem is now fixed and other people will not experience the same issue. If anyone does, they may find it corrects itself when it goes from Pending to Confirmed.

I had the same issue as all the other comments. Cashback at way below the published rate. I have submitted an on-ice missing cashback claim report, the "glitch" continues.

was expecting around £2.80 cash back i got 43p which is about 1.8% nowhere near 12%
lets hope they are better mechanics than mathematicians

Similar problem to the above two, however, I decided to contact Customer Services about this rather than just wait and see what happens. They advised me to submit a "missing cash back claim" which I have now done so will wait and see what comes of that. However, I do recommend anybody who gets (much) lower cash back than promised to do this - at the least, it might help stop this being a future problem for others.

I bought a policy for £19.50 and got 28p cashback!!! This is not 12% as advertised. (1.5 % approx!!!!) Yes the policy appears better than another very cheap company - they pay for 1 hour by the roadside while the other very cheap company only pays for half an hour. But don't choose this policy for the cashback.

As there are no comments yet, I thought I should say I am a little discouraged by the 12% cashback being based on a transaction value of £6.95 rather than the value of my purchase of £57.95. I'll update this if it's only an initial glitch.
