Following a purchase in January Halfords have refused to pay out the £6 cashback. Despite the bike (purchase via click and collect) being in my garage and Topcashback being supplied with timestamps and the order reference number. Shocking service.

Terrible experience with Halfords. Ordered a bike via click and collect for my Daughter for Christmas. The transaction never tracked so I had to put in a claim. Now, 8 months and several nudges later I have heard to say that my claim has been rejected by Halfords as the order was either cancelled or returned - neither of which are true. Very disappointed to say the least to have received no cashback on a genuine order and will not be using them again - AVOID!

Reserved online to collect instore then received sms to notify that the item was ready to collect. Arrived instore to collect & staff member on collection desk informed me that he was busy & had not printed off the list of online orders, he then just took the item from from the shelve instore & checked it out through the till as normal. So although my cashback is showing as pending, I doubt that it will be paid as their will be no record of my collection. BEWARE....

I purchased a bike through click and collect last Christmas for my son. The cash back tracked quickly but then disappeared. I had to open an enquiry and give all my purchase details which I did. I am still waiting for the cashback 7 MONTHS LATER! I have chased topcashback several times but have been fobbed off. We'll see if the actual cashback ever materialises.

2 separate orders for nearly £600. despite topcashback notification saying visit recorded, not a single order tracked. BE WARY OF THIS ONE !!!

No song and dance about the service in the shop, good service should be expected, not congratulated. 7 months to wait for cashpack to be paid is not acceptable. As I've had little trouble with any other merchant I assume that the delay is Halford's responsibility, not Topcashback's.

*********************** Click, Reserve and Collect (Pay in Store)this time pending in less than 24hrs - Trick here as with many stores is make sure you log into your account before you purchase/order (Open one if you dont have one and even though you dont actually need one as in most cases with online sales - It really does help the process and for your records regarding claims etc)

Full Marks as Payers but had to claim for a Collect in Store but the nice Cashback peeps soon sorted that. Good friendly Service for Bike assembly and Collection but I wouldn't trust there mechanics to put a Bed together - Had to sort out the brakes and gears myself when I got home

14 months after purchase and only now discovering that I won't be getting the advertised cashback. It seems that Halfords couldn't even be bothered to definitively decline my claim, apparently choosing to ignore it instead. A poor attitude and service.

Never once received any cashback for a reserve and collect purchase after many attempts. Fortunately did not purchase items for the cashback, but be wary if you do.

Used Reserve & Collect, cashback tracked immediately but turned out the battery I ordered wasn't suitable for a Fiesta - no mention of that on the website :( One I needed wasn't on the website & ended up buying one off the shelf so I don't expect cashback to be paid.

No cashback for me. Waited from May 2011. Would not use them again. They don't set the bikes up correctly and don't care about after care. Halford was a name that used to mean something. Not anymore.

i bought tom tom sat nav and they have refused my cashback. i wont recommend halfords i wont be buying another item of them :(

Despite using click and collect, store didnt have item in stock. Tried 2 other stores and they didnt have stock either. Ended up ordering online and got next day delivery free. Tracks click and collect without even collecting - free cash!

******** Warning - this merchant never payed my cashback - Very bad experience ******** I bought a bike from Halfords in 2010 and used their online reservation/payment system to pick up at a local store (Guildford) - arrived there and they claimed not to have found a reservation (even though I showed the Halfords reservation email and conf number). Saw initial tracking on the topcashback site for correct amount, then a week later it was gone - complained, and it came back as a fraction of the original amount (less than 0.1%) - complained again. Halfords then retracted any cashback and claimed never to have received any order, even though I had emails, credit card receipts, Halfords order id, halfords transaction id, and a bike in my garage! Consequently, I will never use this merchant again, the whole ordeal left me with a bad taste, and feeling like I could not trust Halfords - It's a real shame because at the time they were the only way to get hold of Boardman mountain bikes. I shall avoid any dealing with Halfords ever again. Warning - this merchant never payed my cashback - Very bad experience.

I love Halfords but the reserve and pick up service needs to be improved, i reserved 2 items and went to collect 5 hours later - they had not been picked off the shelves and i had to queue in various till points for ages.
