The fact they offer value for money items which are delivered quickly are reasons why HMV have been given a four-star rating by those TopCashback members who have decided to provide a review after shopping with them. Customers state that they are pleased with the “great items” and “great prices” they found when shopping online through us, while another highlights the “timely delivery” as the reason for providing positive feedback.

Members also seem to be generally pleased with the cashback process, with some of the comments left including “quick and easy transaction”, “excellent payout speed” and “from my experience, they are very quick giving cashback compared to many other merchants”, with some members reporting their cashback tracked quickly or was paid in two weeks.

HMV do not have a very good overall Trustpilot rating, although the four and five-star reviews left mention such things as the quick delivery provided, with one member explaining how they ordered on Saturday and their items arrived on Tuesday. Other positive comments include “usually better prices than elsewhere and good exclusives” and “I’ve ordered online many, many times and never had an issue”.

Tracked at 0.00. Item was in stock and delivered promptly by HMV. Tried to submit missing Cashback claim only to be fobbed off by TopCashBack " - Sorry, but we cannot process claims for amounts smaller than £1.00 " What's the point in advertising 5% cashback when retailers can choose not to honour the transaction ?

My purchase tracked as £0.00 but cashback was for less than £1 so,I can't chase it!! If HMV offer cashback,they should pay it!! :-(

Order tracked although for some reason it has appeared as two separate transactions. The price for the CD's was the cheapest around and delivery was OK.

HMV's record of delivery and keeping customers informed of order progress is not bad but their cashhback tracking is on a totally different par. Several of my purchases made in October 2007 with HMV from another cashback website failed to be tracked so I submitted a manual missing claim form and they eventually added the missing £5.45 to my account but as to date, I am still awaiting to be paid that missing cashback. I also made 4 purchases with HMV at TopCashBack in October 2008 but only 2 of them were tracked and paid. Unfortunately, I could not make a manual claim against the 2 missing cashback items because TopCashBack does not accept individual claims of under £1 in value because of administration costs. However, I think TopCashBack ought to review this policy because HMV insist on charging each item individually to their customer's credit card, no matter how many items there are on the one order and TopCashBack insist on us submitting a separate claim per missing cashback item charged to our credit card, then an awful lot of under £1 claims could not be submitted and retailers like HMV would save a lot of money on commission for these "mysteriously untracked" and "unclaimed" cashback items. On a lighter note, personally, I would in future avoid purchasing anything from HMV in October because my own experiences seem to indicate that items do not track very well in the month of October at HMV!! LOL.

Not yet recieved any cash back and I have purchased 3 times in the last month. So not impressed yet with that aspect, i hope they prove me wrong. However goods recived and happy with those items.
