Depending on the rental agent your car hire is provided by, you may be able to book a range of optional extras online.

These include a child car seat, sat nav, ski rack, roof rack or snow chain set and tyres, while you can also add another driver or include Wi-Fi access. Most of these optional extras will not be included in the rental price. Some can be purchased when you book online, but others are only available from the rental desk.

If the option is available, it is always best to add them during the booking process to guarantee availability. The cost of these extras will be displayed in the rental conditions at the time of booking. Any extras you add when making a booking must be paid for when you collect your car (payment will be in the local currency).

You will be able to cancel up until 24 hours before your pick-up and get a full refund.

Should you cancel less than 24 hours before pick-up, they will deduct 50 Euros from the refund if it is a fully prepaid booking, while if you paid less than 50 Euros, you will not receive a refund. If you make a booking less than 24 hours before the pick-up time, the cancellation policy will automatically apply to your booking.

All cancellations should be processed on the Holiday Autos online portal, while if you do cancel with the car hire provider directly on arrival, you will also have to inform Holiday Autos. It may not be possible to amend a booking or cancel an optional extra less than 24 hours before pick-up. If you have booked with Thrifty or Hertz, you can cancel for free within seven days of the booking being made. After this, there will be a charge of 55 Euros.
