Take a look below and you will discover some very positive Holiday Autos review comments, although the feedback in general is somewhat mixed. While some TopCashback members have complained about their cashback being declined ot taking a long time to reach payable status, others have obviously had no problems whatsoever. Some of the comments left regarding cashback include “paid within three weeks of hire date”, “fast payment, highly recommended” and “quick and fast payment, really pleased”. One member has summed up their experience by saying: “Simple and never had any problems with Holiday Autos regarding cashback — very satisfied.”

It is not just the cashback process which comes in for praise, however, with others loving Holiday Autos as a company. Some of the remarks you will find include “a great company with competitive car hire prices” and “brilliant — would definitely recommend Holiday Autos”. The vast majority of Holiday Autos reviews on Trustpilot are excellent, with one customer saying: “Great value for money, car was brand new and exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and explained everything very clearly. Would definitely use them again.” Other comments include “quick and easy booking process — not the first time we have used Holiday Autos for this very reason”, “easy and honest service. Options for every budget” and “we have used Holiday Autos in the past and have to say their service is getting better year on year”.

I think Holiday Autos should be taken off the Topcashback website.My purchases never track and I use this company 6 times a year. I have claims still outstanding from 2 years ago. Perhaps Holiday Autos think I earn too much money from them HA HA !!!!!!!

Booked in January, cashback tracked, but isn't payable. This seems to be happening more often now........ i guess it will be declined next.

Used this company for a holiday rental last year. Cashback didn't track, heard nothing for months and then finally declined with no reason given. The car we got was an older model and we were left feeling we would have been better with one of the bigger hire companies. Would definitely not chance using this company again - may be a few pounds cheaper but worth going with one of the big players in the market in my opinion.

Great prices for car hire, with the added bonus of cashback. Beware though, sometimes you get a better price by going direct to the retailer and lose the cashback, as I've just experienced.

The level of service from this merchant has greatly declined since they were taken-over by CarTrawler, a Company based in the Irish Republic, customer service are not helpful if there is a problem, they respond by saying they are only an Introductary Service any complaints must be directed to the hire car supplier. Also be aware you will be charged in Euro,therefore a hefty converstion fee will be charged by your credit card provider.

Avoid this company at all costs. Initially only transacted 6% of the cash back of 13% and after a claim was made for the balance of 7% they then cancelled the original 6%.The result was I received nothing of the £47 that I should have been credited with and no explanation. Use a reputable company.

Three times I've used this company band all three times got a smaller car than that illustrated & described on their website. Have got wise to this now and always take a screen shot of what I'm booking at the time, and then always check the category code on the rental voucher in plenty of time BEFORE picking up the car. I understand that illustrations may be 'examples; but when you the RAVA 4 they illustrate (and that was the only illustration & example given), ends up being a Mini Moke with the supplier, then this is blatant misselling and nothing but a ploy to make their prices look very competative !You have been warned !

If you hire a car for a long period of time you would expect to get a decent amount of cashback. But as expected, 4 months later, NOTHING! Other comments reflect this and also that holiday autos push their prices up. This is true, they subcontract to one of the major hire car companies but charge you more and don't pay you the cashback in most cases even though you have a booking reference etc to prove it. So the bottom line, just go elsewhere get your car cheaper and actually get your cashback. You been warned!!

very fast, think i only waited about 2-3 weeks before it was confirmed, then took another week or so for payout but thats a minimal time compared to others. Will defo be using again.

Cashback element of this transaction was fine - tracked and paid out ok. Problem I had was being supplied with a smaller car than I had booked - at the airport Thrifty desk, was given the keys to Hyundai I10, I'd booked a Fiesta. HA customer services would not simply authorise Thrifty to provide an upgrade to what I had booked, I had to upgrade at my own expense, and claim back the costs, ruined the first day of our holiday - still ongoing after 3 months. HA now owned by Cartrawler, not the most helpful. Suggestion - if you book online through a broker, phone the car hire desk before you leave and see what they have got reserved for you, you'll then be in a position to straighten it out before you arrive, and if you can't, cancel and rebook with someone else.

4 months after having car my claim as finally been declined.sent invoice number and proof of having car in Corsica but they say no trace and I did not go through t.c.b.As with some of the higher value cashbacks there seems to be these problems.

Be very careful they quote in £ and charge you in Euros. You may end up paying more due to credit card charges.

Very bad experience with holiday autos, initial car we were given had dangerous tyres and they were not bothered. They begrudgingly changed the car for a smaller model and when we took it back they charged us €30 as they said the car had not been cleaned out (it had sand in it) and said we had done it out of revenge. Holiday Autos were not bothered by our bad experience with their supplier partner and the cashback did not track so I am still waiting for a response from the merchant. I will never use this company again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Although I had a perfectly valid purchase they wouldn't pay out the cashback, and looking through the forum I'm not the only one to experience this problem. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole - rumour has it they inflate the price anyway for TCB users. Go elsewhere and be paid.

Hi, I purchased car hire through Topcashback, cashback reached confirmed status and then vanished without been paid out, appears to have been declined by Hol Autos for no valid reason, just wanted to warn others, don't rely on this cashback from Hol Autos.

Transaction tracked fine but remained as pending for a approximately a year. Holiday Autos could not find any record of my transaction despite me having email confirmation and having used the rental voucher abroad. I will think twice about using this merchant again.

Holiday Autos prices tend to be very much the same as the other budget car hire companies. The hire cars I have had from them are pretty run down and past their best. Holiday Autos have often tried to get out of paying cashback or special offers they advertise, and have stated I have clicked through some website I have never heard of to book - then they do not honour the offer. If their price is cheaper than others then book with them if you are not bothered what state your car will be in - but don't bank on getting cashback or a decent car. Just my experiences which I thought I'd share.

I booked car hire through TopCashback and was awarded the cashback. I then added cacellation insurance, and the cashback was cancelled by Holiday Autos. They claimed the amendment nullified the cashback. Needless to say I shall never hire a car with them again.
