I placed an order in June 2016 for items that their website claimed were in stock. After handing over my £650, I received no confirmation of when the delivery date would be. When I contacted them a few weeks later I was told that my goods had been delayed. The idiot I spoke to on the phone said that they were dealing with suppliers in countries abroad, therefore, they had no way of knowing when they would arrive. I found this bizarre but thought I would preserve. A couple of months later I chased again and was told they'd been delayed but was assured they would be delivered at the end of September / October. At the end of October, I had not received anything again (no furniture, refund, courtesy call or email), so I emailed again to find further delays and an estimated delivery of December . I have now cancelled the order. What has really annoyed me about this company is that not once have THEY contacted me to explain what has happened to my order. I have repeatedly contacted them. They have not acknowledged any of the points I raised in my emails or attempted to explain the issues. They have repeatedly sent me generic emails that apologise placidly without even recognising their very poor customer service or any attempt to resolve the issue. On one call I was told that they contact and update people every 27 days - I have never been contacted spontaneously and think this is very poor. They've had my money for 6 months. If I don't get it back, I will be taking this to a higher level. Do not be fooled by their website - it presents them as a large company, with good credentials - but I doubt they are. Do not be fooled by the reviews - I strongly suspect the majority here are fake. They are barely capable of handling basic emails competently, let alone dealing with furniture manufacturers. Very dishonest, with no customer values whatsoever.

I ordered furniture from Homesdirect365 back in October 2013. It is now March 2013 and I still have not received all of my items. I discovered a few months later that some of the items were discontinued and that I had to select alternatives (I was not even offered the option for a refund as they took payment up front!). They have failed to update me on the status and it is not until I call them to track the status of my items that I get told of changes to my order, discontinued items, and delivery delays. Bearing in mind I have paid premium prices for my furniture. To make things worse, their delivery team only deliver to the house/flat ground floor door. They do not have the courtasy to carry the furniture up tp the bedroom on the 1st floor. Avoid completely. You are better off purchasing Chic style furniture from other stores and at better prices. Would have been nice to know about discontinued items while making the order. Their website can be misleading in giving the impression that they have everything in stock and that all items are delivered assembled. The reality was that I had to assemble some items and wait forever until they were in stock. Dont get fooled by them!

Do not use this company, you pay a lot of money for delayed delivery times, poorly made products and a terrible attitude. I waited 4 months for an item, when it arrived it was faulty, i returned it. The replacement item arrived and it too was faulty so i returned it again. Homes Direct tried to claim it was fine when it was despatched and dragged their feet in refunding the money. A painful experience, honestly don't bother!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY Regretably I've had to award this company 1 out of 5, as that's the lowest allowed. In reality, they deserve minus 10. I ordered a wall plaque over the phone on 13th March 2013 at £89.99. They took payment there and then and gave me a "3-4 weeks delivery" promise. 3 weeks passed, I called to check delivery and was told it "will be with you next week". Called the following week to see if they could advise as to which day of the week it would be delivered as wife couldn't stay in all week, only to be hit with Bombshell Number 1 - "the plaque won't be with our suppliers until June". From their suppliers it would still have to get to them, then on to us, meaning delivery would be mid-June at earliest. I told them they had misled me, and requested a refund. Bombshell Number 2 - refund "could take up to 7-10 working days", meaning up to 2-weeks in real money. So, they take £90 off you instantly, mislead (lie?) to you regards delivery, then tell you the item could take another 3 months, and top it all off by telling you you "could" have to wait 2 weeks to get your money back. Please do yourself a favour and avoid using this company at all costs.

Useless company - do not use! I ordered several items on July 3rd, totalling more than £600. I was then told that 2 items wouldn't be available until the end of September. This has now been extended till mid-November! Needless to say, I've now cancelled the entire order. :-(

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I have now been waiting for a bed which I ordered on 20th March. Paid for in full. It was supposed to be delivered on 8th May. I had a call the day before saying it was damaged so wouldn't be arriving with the rest of my furniture. By which time we had got rid of our old bed. After chasing customer services several times I was told the bed would not be ready until end of July. Now that I have enquired again I have just received an unapologetic email stating it is not expected until end of November. No apologies, no discounts, not even a phone call. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. My husband and I have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for six months which is now resulting in back problems. Somebody needs to urgently get in touch and rectify this situation. You were quick enough to take our money from us, and we have had nothing but hassle in return for it. I would not recommend Homes 365 to anyone other than watchdog, the Evening Gazette and perhaps BBC radio Tees for an investigative article on this absolutely disgraceful company.

Having ordered 3 items in September that cost £1600 i had one item delivered 3 weeks later. I was informed the additional items would be delivered mid Nov, it then got moved to the end of Nov only for me to call today to be told 1 of the items wouldnt be delivered until March 2012. 7 MONTHS AFTER ORDERING. There excuse............. its the run up to Christmas however it wasnt when i ordered the items in the first place. A total joke!!!!!!! The item i do already have from this company is great, its shame i have to go else where for good customer service. Total disappointment
