Problems and delays with instore cashback every time when using Amex
I had to register a claim every time I paid with Amex, had to chase it up and wait months for cashback to be granted. Way, way too difficult and hard to keep track of.
On the other hand, paying with a different card cashback was almost instantly granted.

In-store cashback isn't always straightforward. Having made a claim, this cashback came through after nearly 9 months.

Great when you get cash back from certain retailers but if a retailer declines your cash back you have no way of knowing what retailer it was.
