'Customer Success Team'... how wrong!
Despite purchasing from Leader Doors prior to this event, without any trouble/issue, I have found their aftercare support lacking the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues with the door I purchased. Having initially reviewed on Trustpilot, they responded to say get in touch (they know how to contact me if they took any care) and then subsequently attempted to having my Trustpilot account shut down alleging it was a fake account/scam. Upon receipt of the door from the delivery company, I noted it had been damaged, presumably in transit; I reported this immediately. Upon closer inspection, I found the beading edges had not been finished on one side of the door as it was rough compared to the other side, and, the panels on the door were splintered. The laminate oak surface was also peeling away from the door on the top edge. While the customer success team acknowledged the photographs I sent of the issues, they offered a replacement door to be delivered a week later, or a partial refund. In the interest of installing the door swiftly, so as not to delay my client, I agreed to the partial refund, expecting I would have to make good the problems on the door, accepting the risk that it may not be adequate. Sadly, despite the offer of a partial refund, the customer success team went silent and one week later I am still unable to install the door and I have an unhappy client. It was only on the eighth day that I received a reply to offer a forty five pound refund which amounted to less than the original delivery charge. Had this of been offered initially, and, the refund handled quickly, it may have been better received by my client but time lapsed unnecessarily. I should add, the refund was NEVER received! The refund would not cover the cost of my time to make up for the few extra hours that I will have to spend in making good the door but the company was probably trying to drag this out because they suspect the client will want the door installed ASAP. Their doors are good, but their customer service is pathetic. They delivered three damaged doors, from an order of six. They said these would be collected on one date, then another. When they failed to arrive on a third date, Leader then said “We don’t collect that type of door.” They then admitted that nowhere - nowhere - on their website does it state damaged doors wouldn’t be collected. Nor could these fraudsters explain why I wasn’t told this on the previous three pieces of correspondence. They are pathetic and deserve to go out of business.

I purchased well over a £1000.00 worth of doors from this company and they will not acknowledge the purchase to TCB so I can claim my cash back. Massage to TCB - You need to delete this company from your recommendations and website and bar them from appearing on your site ever again.

Avoid them. This company is a scam. No cash back. No door. They refused to give my money back. I had to report them to my bank and fortunately the bank refunded me. Avoid these scammers!

Absolutely dreadful, my recommendation is that you avoid this company at all costs. The problem started when the door did not arrive on time, I chased every day, and every day I was told it will be delivered later that day, which if course it did not. Four days later it finally arrived, but of course, it was damaged. Leader doors initially offered a £30 discount (that's half the delivery cost), which of course I declined as asked them to come and collect the door and send me a new one. They then offered 50% of the value of the door, which was fine, it would cover the cost of the repairs, so I accepted this. Unfortunately, after chasing, this has not been refunded. So today I have to start the Small Claims Process. This is dreadful service, I will not use this company ever again. You can tell how good a company is, not by if there is a problem, but how it is dealt with to resolve it. Leader Doors failed.

Ordered an external gate which was appropriately treated using a leading brand of outdoor varnish several times. The gate quickly bowed and was clearly not fit for purpose. Customer service was appalling and slow. Recommend you don't use this company.

Delivery 3 weeks late and no sign of it arriving and so had to cancel a month after ordering. Completely ignores emails.

I can honestly say this is the worst company I have EVER dealt with online. Waited six weeks for my door which didn't arrive on quoted date. Emailed them 3 days later to enquire where my door was and they replied advising it would be delivered the following week but no communication from them or tracking info is provided which is very poor. They use a courier called DX, if you check their reviews online you will be shocked, review after review stating doors delivered damaged. Guess what?....my door arrived BADLY damaged. It came a day late because it went to wrong depot, the courier obviously knew it was damaged as they just dumped it on my drive and drove away, didn't knock or leave a note. Please read the next bit, I will keep it short and factual but it is important you read on. I contacted leader doors customer services and corresponded with someone called John and sent him pictures of the damaged door. Initially he replied promptly to my emails and said I could return the door or accept a £50 partial refund. As the door was only for an outbuilding and damage was all on the inside face I accepted the offer of a refund. Sadly after 2 weeks and no sign of my refund despite emailing them several times I am now being ignored, no replies whatsoever. Perhaps they think I will just go away? No chance, I have all correspondence in emails and will be proceeding with legal action against them. I just wish I had read the poor reviews of others and purchased elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable other companys to buy your doors from who have good customer service. Take my advice and stay well clear of leader doors or you could very well regret it.”

Just spent nearly £1400 with this company and had cashback declined. That's a lot of cashback to lose. Incredibly disappointed.
