I have used Lloyds before for insurance via cashback with no problems but tried to get a house insurance quote and the site directed me to call one of their advisors which would obviously bypass the cash back!

Don't bother with this Lloyds TSB Car Insurance - they bar you from purchasing or submitting a quote through their linked site and force you to ring them on an 0845 number so you will be unable to claim the cashback.

My wife took out buildings and contents insurance in Nov 2008 and as of 9th may 2009 no cashback has even tracked to the account BEWARE

Take out the basic insurance - very good value when compared using a comparison site. Tracked okay, Paid out after 3 months. My contents insurance worked out at £19 net for the year!!
