Cashback declined over 1 year later!
Absolutely disgusting. Spent £649 here in Jul 2022 and was told cashback declined in Oct 2023 and cannot appeal! Packaging was all broken when items arrived. The last 8 reviews are 1 star - AVOID!

Didn't honour cashback
Bought an item for £500+ earlier this year and then spent the next 6 months+ arguing with TopCashback and Marks Electrical to receive the cashback, which they declined because the appliance was sold with discounted installation. Nothing to declare at the time of purchase that this would invalidate the cashback and took months of hassling to get any kind of reply.
Strikes me as dishonest and puts me off buying from them in future.

Poor - do not pay!! Zero stars
Do not buy from this retailer, use every excuse not to pay out despite no valid reason not to. Apparently the item I purchased was ‘non-commissionable’ despite being full price, no discount used and next day delivery which I paid for. TopCashback should be banning retailers like this!

Cashback unpaid (for no apparent reason)
I would not recommend this company. I bought a washing machine for £499 but, after lots of to-ing ad fro-ing between myself, Topcashback and Marks Electrical, they still refused to pay. Full marks to Topcashback because they stepped up (even after all their efforts) and paid me themselves! Marks Electrical 0/10, Topcashback 10/10 :))

They don't give cashback
I purchased from Mark's Electrical and the Cashback tracked successfully. However, Marks Electrical have refused to pay the cashback, which was over £100. They said I didn't meet their T&C's, which was completely wrong as I met all the T&C's and the purchase went throught with no problems. It appears they don't like paying out big cashback amounts. From looking at other reviews, this appears to be happening a lot now. Don't trust them to give you the cashback they are advertising.

Don't accept free tastecard if you want the cashback
Delivery and admin was fine. There was an unsolicited free tastecard added at checkout nothing to do with white goods. I never asked or used it. I'm guessing this is the reason but Marks declined the cashback claim. Everything else was done correctly.

Promised cashback not fulfilled
Fulfilled all necessary criteria for 3.15% cashback for a purchase I made. However, my dashboard shows it is payable at £0. Nothing after 4 months of waiting. Support ticket submitted for it to be looked into by Topcashback.

Very difficult to get cashback from this company.
Over the course of 1.5 years I have purchased two TV's from Marks Electrical. Both delivered with no problems. The issue is trying to get the cashback as on both occasions it was refused. I opened up a claim and after about 10 months I received the cashback. I purchased another TV in December 2022 and still battling to get the cashback. Unfortunately from now on I would go to Curry's for my electrical items. The customer service team have been extremely helpful.

All steps followed to ensure cashback tracked correctly including:
1) Clear browsing data
2) Going directly to the site and completing transaction in one session
3) Not using any discount or voucher codes
Claim refused by retailer beware if you intend to make a purchase with this retailer as they don't honor cashback claims.

I believe I've had cash back in the past with Marks Electrical and it all went smoothly, but after purchasing a fridge recently (a couple of months ago), I've yet to hear back after having to lodge a claim.

Having purchased numerous products from this company, and was previously pleased with their service. Unfortunately, advertised cashback offered on my last two purchases have just (after many months) been declined without good reason. Yet another retailer who prefers to lose a repeat customer, rather than honour their offer of TopCashback promised at the time of my purchases. I'm happy to return to AO Electrical, who have never failed to meet their cashback obligations. A shame though.

Placed order and found the product competetively prices, speedy delivery etc however cashback is another issue. The cashback tracked but instead of giving me 2.1% they gave me £0. Lodged complaint but process is so poor that have now missed out.
