It’s fair to say feedback left by TopCashback members who have shopped with O2 through us is mixed. However, having said that, you will be able to read many positive O2 reviews below. There are plenty of people who have clearly been pleased with how quickly they received their cashback, with one saying: “Cashback payable to my account was bang on time — brilliant service.”

The O2 review feedback on Trustpilot is also mixed, but there are some fantastic reviews.

One stated: “Absolutely brilliant company. The My O2 app is so easy to check your upcoming bill and offers.” Another happy customer said: “I think O2 is brilliant. Bulls**t offer
READ THE SMALLPRINT! Headlines as cashback on new contracts with o2 . BUT this DOES NOT APPLY to upgrades. AND its 13 weeks for o2 to acknowledge any purchase made. So if your like me,on the fence at upgrading and the you see the cashback offer flashing in the topcashback extension, pulling you in. IT'S HALF TRUTH! DON'T FALL FOR IT!! ??

Cashback tracked quickly, still waiting for payable
Cashback tracked quickly and was 'confirmed' quickly too. Onto month 4 now and it is still not payable though, but can't fault O2 since moving from EE.

Lied about referrer to avoid payout
Did not track automatically. After three months on ice this claim was immediately rejected. I used no other voucher codes or cashback sites to make the purchase, and the purchase was made through TCB. This cashback offer was for £63, a not insignificant amount of money. Seems they never intended to pay out in the first place

Still unpaid
Bought my son a spacewalk smart watch for birthday 16/08/2022. Still not paid. Literally couldn't do it, was untracked and a pain. finally got it sorted through a ticket and now there saying that they don't know if smart watches are included. it was a monthly contract, there's nothing in the T & C to say had to be a mobile... just listed a couple that it couldn't be!

The cash back has only now (may 2023) been put in my account and the order was placed in November 2022 The cash back team sorted it out so thank you. Had a really good sim deal from O2

TopCashback had to cover their costs
After waiting months and months and months for a payout, I contacted TopCashback who said that they would cover O2's costs as a gesture of goodwill. Good on them but shame on O2.
