Awful. Took over half a year to pay me £26. Then they took £5 when I paid out. Poor communication. My first experience using this service and it was appalling. After all that waiting you still took a £5 fee. What a joke.

As for all the other reviews, no cashback appeared, declined for 'one of various reasons' all of which were false. A respected name, the Post Office will get no further business from me or my family in any form.
I will be checking the policy and if there are no cancellation charges or it is low, I will cancel it.
So, where is all our cashback money going?

They dangle the tasty carrot in front of you. Then their grubby little fingers take your cash. You comply with all criteria, wait 3 months and then they decline your cashback with no explanation. I'm not the first but hopefully the last that will be suckered in by POST OFFICE.
Will avoid for future transactions.

Purchased Car insurance as new customer vis this site, on 24. July 2014.
Cash back was "Pending" for 3 months.
Submitted several support / claim tickets to find out why my claim was not confirmed,
only to be politely "fobbed off" by Top Cash Back, with some sort of excuse.
Today 4. Nov. 2014, I find that my claim has been declined by the Post office..
What a con!!...still I expected a little more support/ help in this matter from TCB, as they are the ones with the facility to communicate with the merchants.
Post office insurance was still cheaper than other providers, but that is not the point here.
Don't con people with the promise of discount , let them wait for 3 months and then decline their cash back without any explanation at all.!!
Thanks Top Cash Back for the lack of support....

Purchase didn't track, took months and months to respond to TCB's enquiry, then suddenly appeared in my account marked payable, at the princely rate of £0.00. Avoid.

Re my previous comments: "Don't rely on getting anything. It's now the 14th of may and I've been waiting since 20 jan 2014 for this cashback. Also bought car insurance back on 04 Nov 2013 and am still waiting for this. It looks like others are waiting an excessive times for cashback from the post office."
It's now the 8th of September 2014.
THEY WON'T PAY OUT. I'M MISSING £50. BUY YOUR INSURANCE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Refused cashback for no reason. I have used TCB for several years and never been refused cashback from anybody else before. please do not expect cashback from the post office.

Beware!!!!!!!!
DO NOT expect Post Office to pay out...
Have had my £30.30 cashback for insurance declined for no apparent reason.
Extremely poor service from this merchant and would not use them again

Update on my waiting cashback. My account has now completely disappeared from TCB, have advised TCB to chase yet again as I want my money. After waiting 8 months so far, feel very negative.

Purchased my car insurance and paid in full November 2013. Now July 2014 and still waiting for payment of cashback. The cashback team are chasing it up and I will give an update of the outcome but so far not impressed at all!

I was also charged a ridiculously high admin fee when I changed cars mid term. Of course, this could be the case with most if not all insurers. So the answer is to keep the vehicle for the lenght of the policy.

Beware of hidden admin costs when amending insurance policy details. Cancellation costs are ridiculously high. Would not recommend.
