Those looking to get a deal on a holiday would have been able to save in more than one way in the 2021 Qatar Airways Black Friday event. Flight fares were reduced by 22% to destinations like Dubai, Cape Town, Bangkok and Helsinki and as long as you booked by November 28th, you could have enjoyed lots more benefits, too. On top of the discounted flight fares, the Qatar Airways Black Friday sale also featured 2500 bonus Qmiles for new members who signed up to their privilege club. The membership comes with lots of perks, including priority boarding, extra baggage allowance and lounge access.

Some of the other deals you could have got in last year’s Black Friday sale included 30% off holiday packages, 50% off extra baggage and 50% off seat selection, so you could have booked extra little luxuries for less. Any flights that qualified for the Black Friday offers had to be booked by November 28th and travel taken by September 3rd, 2022. Some of the deals last year were flights to the Maldives from £649, flights to Seychelles from £550 and flights to Dubai from £377. Having one of the world's youngest airline fleets means passengers will enjoy a great experience once in the air on board a Qatar aircraft.

You will find superb hospitality and world-class service combined with innovative design, while you can enjoy delicious cuisine and up to 4,000 entertainment choices such as movies, TV shows, kids' programmes and games. In economy class, you will experience one of the widest and most spacious seats, which will allow you to relax and stretch out.

Choose first class and you will find a generous space featuring stylish decor, a private space and personal service, while you will find the ultimate experience in business class, including Qsuite, with it's forward facing seats and private spaces which are adaptable to your needs. Their onboard Wi-Fi allows you to work or keep the children entertained, while you can stay connected thanks to the OnAir mobile service.

As well as being able to check-in at the airport, you can also do so either online or on your phone.

Not only can you save time by checking in online, but you will also be able to choose your seat and print your boarding pass, then use the fast bag drop counters at the airport to check-in your luggage. For all flights except those going to or from the US, online check-in is available from 48 hours to 90 minutes before departure.

It will open 24 hours before departure if you are flying to or from the US. As an added bonus to checking in online, you will receive a 10% discount voucher to use at Qatar Duty Free outlets. If you download the Qatar Airways mobile app, meanwhile, you can check in using your phone.

Some airports, including in London and Manchester, will allow you to use a digital boarding pass on your mobile for Qatar flights. As well as being able to check-in online or via your phone, you can also use My Q-Tag, which is a baggage tag that you can print at home and take to the web check-in bag drop counter to save yourself some time. This is available on selected routes.

If you are going away with the kids, you can be sure they will travel in comfort and be entertained with Qatar Airways.

The fact they will have plenty of space and their own entertainment channel are just two of the advantages of flying with Qatar. You can keep them occupied with creative and educational packs crammed with crayons, stickers and puzzles, while if you order a kids' meal, they can enjoy fresh and tasty food and drink during the flight.

There are also bassinet seats for babies and packs containing nappies, baby food jars and soft toys. Children will get their own baggage allowance, while one pushchair, buggy or collapsible carrycot is allowed per infant for free.

Become a member of the Privilege Club, Qatar Airways' frequent flyer programme, and you will be able to take advantage of exclusive benefits when you fly with them.

You will find four memberships tiers with their own selection of benefits and which you can move up through the more Qatar Airways flights you take. Any Qpoints you earn within a 12-month period are checked on a daily basis, with those who have acquired the amount needed to move up a tier being immediately upgraded.

You will earn Qpoints based on the cost of the fare of any Qatar Airways or oneworld member airline flight, as well as the travel sector. The benefits you will find as you move through the tiers include priority standby, lounge access, preferred seats and priority check-in.

You, and any of your nominated family members, can also earn Qmiles when you travel with Qatar Airways or any other oneworld member airline. Your Qmiles can be redeemed against the cost of flights to almost 1,000 destinations, or you can use them for upgrades, excess baggage awards and to pay for goods at Qatar Duty Free.
