Took 1.5 months to confirm transaction and expected 2.5 months from tranaction start date to pay. Seem a long time. however, can't complain as as the cashback amount and online dicount means that I get breakdown cover for less than £25

Paid £60 to get joint cover for my wife and I, got £20 back. Took quite a while to get the money and had to put in a manual claim to get it but got the cash in the end and thats the main thing. Would recommend.

This is the 2nd year running that I have signed-up to the RAC thru topcashback. They are pretty good at diagnosing whats wrong with your vehicle, but, their response times are abysmal.
When I first called upon their services in Dec. '08, they took 1 hour to arrive. 2 days later I needed their services again (for a different vehicle). Another hour wasted. In June this year, I needed them again (called them at 9:45 at night) they sent-out a contractor, who arrived 1 1/2 hours later. I could have walked home in less time.
Will I renew next year?, no, not unless they seriously invest in improving their response times. I really didn't enjoy standing round in sub-zero temperatures for an hour waiting for them to arrive.

Have now been waiting 10 months to get my cashback from RAC. Don't think I'll be getting it now! Has put me off using them again.

Just purchased RAC breakdown cover and payment pending. Was impressed with the way transaction was monitored and my account kept and was able to view my cashback within 24 hours. Hope the experience continues up until payment.

What a disgrace!! I did everything right and this didn't track at all even now after 6 weeks. Topcashback are chasing this up for me but I'm not holding my breath. I would be very wary about this one. I spent £68 on my policy and should have received £20 cashback. What a joke. Avoid unless you really want the policy and are not too bothered about the cashback

RAC sent out my membership card etc but within a week I had a letter saying they had been unable to get payment...it is not possible my debit card was underfunded.I think they realised that their offer of nearly all my joining fee returned was daft.
