Topcashback does record the purchase but Red Spotted Hanky does not automatically track it. Thus, I have to put in a manual claim each time.
Is there a reason or setting on my computer that needs changing?

Very easy experience to buy rail tickets. Also has money saving tips. Cashback track almost instantaneously.

Website seems very glitchy. I have often received server scripting errors part way through the purchasing process which has resulted in having to repopulate the basket. I have also had card processing errors which have resulted in a non-purchase with no explanation - I suspect their link to the card processor was broken.
Good potential, but you need a patience of a saint to use the site as it is very unintuitive.

I've now used RSH via TCB 4-5 times and whilst it's too soon for the cash back the tracking seems to be working okay. My experience of RSH is more mixed thanks to my latest experience. I booked two sets of tickets via on booking code. On visiting the station the self service machine only printed one set. The error message said to speak to the ticket office but they didn't know what to do. On returning home I found an 0800 number for RSH and after a short period on hold they promised to reset the code. This didn't work and the second call to them took nearly 30 minutes and they promised to generate anew code. Whilst they were friendly enough I felt like I was in limbo and the new code only arrived 2 hours before the the trip. From reading other forums this seems to be a known software bug so they really should have fixed it by now. Whilst it was a bit stressful this time it would have been a nightmare if the printing failure had occurred just before travelling.

I have been using RSH for 3 months now. I'm very happy with the experience and the cashback offered. It tracks almost immediately, so no need to worry about filing claim..cashback is paid within a reasonable timeframe..would defo suggest it and use it again. Overall...good experience, hope it continues like that.!

I've spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds on this merchant through topcashback and I still have never even had the cashback tracked for any of my transactions. Really disappointing as this seemed like such a great deal! Hoping that it will be sorted out soon.

Took three months to go from pending to confirmed will wait and see how long they take to go to payable. Only waiting on a very small amount of Cashback but as pointed out in my post in December 2012 the train tickets are much better value that the time they take to give you the Cashback

I am so happy RSH are doing cashback again!
I used them for a while, as I commute to london on the trains everyday I buy a lot of tickets.
They make it so clear what journeys have the cheapest tickets and it will give 1 reference for several journeys (I buy 10 single tickets at a time) to make it easy for collection.
I recieved money back when trains were being disrupted with snow, quickly and efficently, the lady was also lovely.
I will always use Red Spotted Hanky from now on, I used TheTrainLine for cashback last time but they gave me a different reference number for every single journey and then they charge booking fees too so you actually end up paying more.
No booking fees on RSH, Even for credit cards.

I've been using RSH for a while now, and had to cancel one of my purchases (one ticket out of four going). RSH were very helpful and although they make a charge for refunding, they sorted it out and reimbursed me within a short while. It is such a shame they no longer offer TCB
Not only do RSH offer competitive prices, but they also give you FREE first class delivery, and Reward points which can be added and donated to 'the railway children' charity or used against you purchase.
Another great thing to remember is that if you shop with Tesco, you can double up your Clubcard points at RSH (so £10 in clubcard points becomes £20 to spend at RSH), I have also done this a few times, and saved a packet. They also give out free money into your RSH on their Facebook pages sometimes.
Overall a company that has always dealt with my queries excellently, offered good prices, and free delivery. highly recommend!

I just bought from RSH for the first time last week and I am very impressed. While their site could do with some improvements, their service is fantastic. I chose to have my tickets delivered by first class post for free and the tickets arrived the very next day. I will definitely be using RSH more often. :)

It now seems as if they are no longer offering cashback through Top Cash back - very disappointing as RSH was a new company to top cashback. Cashback didn't last very long!

No problem with this company. I don't get tickets posted to me as I use the collect from station option and this works with no problems.

Really pleased to see these on here as I use Red Spotted Hanky all the time. Easy to use, easy to find cheapest fares and can always get their tickets posted (or collected from station ticket machines) instantly.
Not only do they have no booking fees for card payments (unlike several others), in addition to TopCashback their website gives an effective 1% Cashback in rewards (to use on future travel or other retail offers). I also pay using Santander 123 Credit Card which gives 3% cashback on the card for all petrol and travel purchases via select deals including RedSpottedHanky. Perfect!

Avoid this site. Have only had bad experiences from them. Poor postage and terrible customer service which involved one of the team hanging the phone up on me just because I said I wasn't happy with the service.
Go with Crosscountry trains who have no booking fee and also then offer compensation if trains are delayed by more than 30 minutes unlike rsh.

Wonderful to see RSH getting cashback. I've been using this site for the last year or so as unlike other sites it doesn't charge a booking fee, and you can exchange Tesco clubcard points for vouchers. Haven't tried the cashback yet so will have to see how it tracks.

Good to see REDSPOTTEDHANKY has been added to TCB - been using them for sometime - excellent site with good offers, plus you can also exchange your Tesco Clubcard Vouchers for REDSPOTTEDHANKY e-vouchers. £10 Tesco vouchers will give you £20 on REDSPOTTEDHANKY. Will be purchasing through TCB from now.
