Love using Booking.com ( who are very fast to payout) - but I've been waiting for almost 4 months for a payout - and other reviews mention waiting over 1 year!!! I won't book through them again, just not worth it.

Dismally slow to payout = two years after booking and 18months after actually completing the car hire. But they did payout eventually, so one star more than the minimum possible.

took nearly 2 years for a payout !!!! booked the car in March 2017, used it in August 2017 and paid out end end of Feb 2019 !!!

Slowest cashback merchant ever, constantly having to chase up, even now have one sitting from Nov, which even once confirmed will no doubt be another 2 or so months before it's payable (only just now got confirmation that a JULY transaction is now available for payment - only took 6 months!)

I am giving this review 5 Stars so that you will see it. Low ratings are hidden and you have to search for them, plus they never seem to affect the star rating overall. There were no issues with the purchase/hiring process. This is about the cashback. After 5 months the status is still “Confirmed” waiting to move to “Payable”. So be prepared for a long wait for any cashback!

I wrote this review for booking.com, but it can also apply perfectly to rentalcars.com because it is part of the same group of companies: I love booking.com and I use it all the time *because* of topcashback, which makes it very very competitive. Keep it up!
