Breakdown Cover Options
There are three levels of UK breakdown cover available at Rescuemycar.com, each of which offers varying degrees of protection for the life of the policy. With each of the options, you can choose vehicle or personal cover. This means you can either cover the vehicles you have registered with them and they will help no matter who is driving them, while personal cover means they will assist you if you are the driver or a passenger in any eligible vehicle.
The Rescue 1 package will provide roadside assistance with local recovery. This means they will fix your vehicle at the roadside if you are more than a mile away from your home or transport you up to 10 miles to your home, garage or original destination if they cannot fix it.
As well as roadside assistance with local recovery, Rescue 2 also includes national recovery, which means that if the local garage cannot complete repairs to your vehicle, they will provide recovery to your chosen destination or alternative onward travel or accommodation. They will also help you if your covered car breaks down within a mile of your home.
Rescue 3 is the same as Rescue 2, though you will not have to pay the £40 excess you would have to if you opt for Rescue 1 or Rescue 2 and need to call them out. Whatever level cover you choose, you can add key cover, which will allow you to claim up to £1,000 if yours are lost or stolen.
