Great products and price but scammed with the cashback
I bought a new pair of GHD straighteners and used a promo code listed on both TCB’s Sally Beauty page and Sally Beauty’s website so should have been approved by both companies. This was the first time I’d shopped with Sally Beauty but had heard good things about them. The cashback tracked straight away (and the straighteners arrived the next day!) but after a couple of weeks, the cashback was declined. When I filed a claim based on meeting all of the criteria on both sites (particularly TCB’s ‘good things to know’ section) I received a reply to say I had used a promo code that wasn’t allowed even though it was copied straight from TCB’s site.
I’m finding this is happening more and more with companies listed on TCB - if they don’t want to offer cashback then they shouldn’t be a part of the programme. Similarly, what is TCB doing? Are they not keeping the information they provide up to date?? I’m going to start keeping a note or even screen grabs of the pages advertising the codes so they have less of an argument with approving cashback.
