Don't Bother. I switched using their service which involved lots of manual intervention. My cashback was tracked in January and then got "declined" in May. Topcashback then cannot process a missing claim because its more than 100 days !!! Crazy system and I wouldn't use them again..

Avoid at all costs. This merchant does not pay out. Shame on Topcashback for allowing this company to scam their members.

An appalling outfit. The "satisfaction" percentage that appears for Simply Switch in no way reflects the volume of complaints about its sharp practice and dumb arrogance -- just read the other reviews here. We switched gas & electricity providers with them via Top Cashback after reading of the dual fuel bonus of £30 (November, 2013.) Did SimplySwitch pay that? No. Not a penny. Top Cashback's team, as ever, did their absolute best to secure the promised payment but Simply Switch remained adamant throughout that it knew nothing of the transaction. The chasing went on for months -- virtually throughout 2014 -- but to no avail. The conclusion has to be that Simply Switch is more of a lottery operator than a switching facilitator -- yes, it makes enticing cash claims to lure you in, but after that it's very evidently the case that you might "win" your promised cashback or "lose" it according to the rules of Simply Switch's game. IF YOU MUST go with Simply Switch -- even though commonsense would argue against that -- then you will DEFINITELY have to go to the trouble of saving the actual browser cache log (easy in Internet Explorer, less so in Firefox) on your computer which will show the time of your direct transfer from Top Cashback to the Simply Switch website. Once you have that log, keep it safe after making a screenshot of the section of the log showing the uninterrupted re-direction of your browser from one site to the other. Of course, more Simply it's better not to even bother with this particular Switch outfit at all. Just read the reviews here . . .

Cashback tracked OK and then was declined 6 weeks later despite my energy transfer being switched successfully. Contacted Simply Switch to ask what they were playing at only to be fobbed off.

Waste of time and cost me a fair amount of money due to them not passing my details onto Eon. As a result I've now ended up on the expensive standard nPower tariff (started the whole process 6 weeks before my existing deal expired) and the eOn tariff I was switching to has expired. I now have to start the whole up to 6 week process off again with someone else. Thanks simplyswitch really appreciate all this hassle. Don't be tempted by the cashback deals either as they are notorious for not paying out with lots of chasing. See reviews on moneysavingexpert.

Disgraceful service. There was an error on my application which they didn't tell me about which meant I've missed out on the rate and they were very unhelpful. Wouldn't touch with a bargepole.

I signed up on the 3rd Sept, I am now out of my fixed rate and paying more money and still not heard from my new supplier. I phoned simply switch today and they have not even swopped me and said it was nothing to do with them!!. but if I would like to try again. No chance.

I applied twice via this merchant to get a cheaper energy deal. The first time it said via email the application failed. That sounded odd, but I took it at face value and resubmitted the application. The second time it again said via email the application failed, but this time the MPAN number was not provided. I reviewed their application form and nowhere did it ask for the MPAN number. Are they playing some tricks or something? Surely if my application failed due to missing MPAN number then all previous applications would have failed as well. They look dodgy to me.

Awful. I applied through them in August to switch suppliers, I have contacted them on 4 separate occasions to chase up what's happening - been promised it's all sorted and / or promised 4 times and that someone would be in touch and still no one has. I've since had an email from the end supplier saying they're sorry to see I've closed my account with them. I didn't even realise it had got that far. UTTERLY USELESS - DID NOT COMPLETE MY SWITCH NOR PAY MY CASH BACK.

Cashback did not track, and after I made a claim, Simply Switch refused to recognise my order for cashback despite the fact that I have completed the switch and set up a direct debit with my new supplier. For this reason, I regret using Simply Switch.

Completely rubbish. I used the service got the email and waited two weeks. I didnt hear anything. The link in the email I received didn't work so I contacted them about that. They should have picked up on the fact they hadn't processed my application but not at all. After waiting over two weeks and hearing nothing I eventually established they had not send my details over to the new energy supplier. Tried to call got cut off 4 times! When you call it isn't even direct you have to go via moneyexpert. Sent them an email, took 3 days to reply and said they would look into that day.8 days later now and they still haven't replied. I will stick to the other switch service I have used with no issue in future.

Absolutely useless. I applied online on 04.07.14. I called the new supplier a week later when I hadn't received any correspondence to be told they didn't have my details. I called Simply Switch who took my deatils and said someone would call me. No call received. A couple of days later I called again and was told the details were sent on 09.07.14. Called the supplier again, still record of me. I am going to use a different switching company and hope that the deal I thought I had taken out is still available. Avoid. I requested

Very bad service, After choosing them to switch with, I've heard nothing from them or my suppliers, they have taken my bank details and after two months I called after waiting for ages on the phone the phone diverted to the reception of the small business centre they used and she put me through. Promised call backs, again and again. Now the chosen tariff is no longer available, so that has cost me money now, STAY WELL CLEAR unless you want to be messed around and kept in the dark for months and then have to start all over again.

Went through this website to change both fuels. I got an email confirming the switch. I dodn't hear anything for a couple of weeks. I rang simply switch and they said they'd look into it. Again nothing for days. I rang my new supplier and turns out no application was received. Ended up applying again over the phone. Simply switch are a complete waste of time.

Don't bother - it's not worth it! Similar to other posters I used SimplySwitch to change energy providers. E-mail confirming completed application received and then nothing. Two weeks later I send an email, no reply. Two weeks after that I 'phone them, 'the person who is dealing with my email is on a break, it looks as if the switch did not take place, you will get a 'phone call back at a specified time', of course no callback. Now waiting for a reply to a follow up email.

As seems to be common with Simply Switch, several weeks after transaction occurred they declined cashback. I also have emails from them confirming and accepting switch! I would recommend using an alternate switching company as I have never had a problem before using Simply Switch.

I would like to echo what Tony Hetherington said. I had the same issue. 3 weeks ago I used Simply Switch to join British Gas and have the confirmation emails from them. After not hearing from British Gas, and after my current supplier stated they haven't received any instructions to move supply, I rang BG who had no record of any wish to join them. Forget about cashback as that would be an added bonus, what use is a website that switches your utility if it does nothing with the request??? Not only a waste of time but I am now going to spend an extra 3 weeks or so paying much higher prices after my fixed deal expires! Instead of saving money, it has cost me money!

My cashback was declined for no reason. Very disappointed as there are many reputable energy swapping sites I could have used.

SimplySwitch appears to be taking commission on utilities sign-ups and refusing to share that commission with SimplySwitch users, despite the promises made via Top Cashback. I used SimplySwitch on November 27 2013 to take on an approx £2,000 per annum dual fuel supply contract with Scottish Power. I have screenshots of the date and time and also of the two Firefox tabbed SimplySwitch and TopCashback pages side by side. SimplySwitch promised £30 cashback. Today, April 11th 2014 -- nearly FIVE MONTHS since the transaction date -- my missing cashback is still. . . Missing. Kudos to Top Cashback for the effort it is putting into retreiving funds promised by this particular merchant but really, it shouldn't have ever come to this. I shall be filling a formal complaint and requesting an investigation into this particular "switching site" if it doesn't stump up the £30 it offered: regulatory oversight of the utilities market has been beefed up and SimplySwitch isn't going to enjoy being on the wrong side of that

Used SimplySwitch to switch providers. Filled out form, all approved fine; e-mail says that new company will contact me direct. 6 weeks on I've heard nothing, so ring new company for them to tell me the application has NOT gone through, a fault of SimplySwitch, however I can spend 15mins on the phone with them and go through all the details again (which I then did not have to hand). My experience of SimplySwitch; useless. In the most truest sense of the word; their service pointless, and only served to waste my time.

I used their energy switching service on 10th March and as of today have not heard a thing from them or my new energy provider. Have just tried calling Simply Switch and there was no answer on the 0800 number, after selecting option 2 (customer services) the phone just rang and rang. What makes it worse is that I entered my bank details while using their so called switching service... Stay well clear! Another word of warning, after using Simply Switch prepare to be inundated with phone calls from their parent company Money Expert trying to get you to fill out PPI claims, even when selecting not to be contacted by phone! Thanks
