The Clobber Loft is a women’s brand that celebrates us; our friendships, our lives – in all the fun, chaos and ups & downs & the outdoors – be that a dog walk, a pub lunch or a day at the beach!
So what you’ll find here are laid back, stylish, comfortable, feel good pieces, with a hint of sass that make you look & feel great.
Our pillars are customer service, quality & affordability. So we source good quality, long lasting pieces which will add real value to your wardrobe, fusing classic and current trends. We price pieces fairly but we can’t compete with the fast fashion high street & I’m not going to try because here you’ll get something a bit more. All our own packaging is recyclable, from our delivery bags to the sticky tape we use to our gift wrap because that’s just the right thing to do. You will receive an individual service be that free local delivery, free gift wrapping if you want it or a personal note every time because you are important & each and every order is appreciated.
I spent the last 20 years working in the charity and not for profit sector, more latterly in national roles; travelling lots, spending too many nights a week in hotels and missing my family. In 2016 I began the process of IVF and eventually had my little boy. In 2019, after being back to work for 18 months after my maternity leave, I made a decision to overhaul my work-life which by default overhauled my home-life in the best way. I left my fabulous but demanding job and took a part time job as a Chief Executive of a local women’s addiction recovery charity and put the wheels in motion for my own business.
I have always loved style & fashion. For as long as I can remember, I have spent too much money (according to my husband!) on clothes for all of us. My dream of an online and pop up boutique for fabulous women who love comfort as much as laidback style has been hanging around for about a decade. For a long time I just pushed it away thinking I could never do it, but over the last few years I thought about it more and more. Something changed & made me believe I could and should do it, so I did. With the some help of some fabulous people behind the scenes & my tribe of gorgeous women, The Clobber Loft was born.
