Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting cashback?
  • If you apply an additional discount that reduces your overall purchase price, this may cause your cashback to be declined or reduced. e.g. Voucher codes, student discount, staff discount
  • You won’t receive cashback if you’re an existing Co-op Insurance Services customer who has had a policy of the same type within the last 12 months with Co-op Insurance Services.
  • If you are renewing a policy.
  • If you, or the insurer / policy underwriter, cancel the policy before cashback is deposited in your TopCashback account.
  • If you don't pay your Insurance Premium in full or, if paying by Direct Debit your payments are not kept up to date.
  • If you obtain a quote through TopCashback and purchase through a Price Comparison Site.
  • If you obtain a quote through a Price Comparison Site and go on to purchase through TopCashback.
  • If you obtain a quote directly through the Co-op Insurance website and go on to purchase through TopCashback.
  • If your application is completed over the telephone.
  • The cashback amount may initially track at a lower amount but uplift upon review.
  • If you take out the policy with stolen or fabricated details, you will not qualify for cashback.
  • Cashback will not be paid if the policy is not purchased through the generation of a new quote and taken out direct.
  • Commission will only be paid for valid policies.
  • Use of a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
What else is essential?
  • Cashback will be paid once Co-op Insurance Services has verified that the policy is in force and premiums have been paid for 3 months. If either party cancels or if it is made void by the insurer / policy underwriter within this period cashback will not be paid.
  • Cashback will remain pending until Co-op Insurance Services has confirmed that 3 consecutive monthly payments have been received.
  • All cashback will be issued via TopCashback and not Co-op Insurance Services or the insurer / policy underwriter. If you have any queries regarding cashback or payments, please raise an enquiry with TopCashback directly.
  • Cashback will not be paid if you attempt to get cashback in conjunction with any other offers through Co-op or any other partners/promotions that are not covered in the retailer Cashback rates. However, Co-op membership and colleague discounts available online can be used in conjunction with this offer.
  • Purchasing the policy in one sitting will help ensure the sale is tracked. The policy must be able to be traced or tracked back to TopCashback for Cashback to be paid.
  • Applicants for insurance are subject to normal underwriting criteria.
  • This cashback offer only applies to Co-op Pet Insurance and does not apply to any other Co-op Insurance Services products.
  • Pet Insurance is offered through Co-op Insurance Services and administered by Insurance Factory Limited.
  • Co-op Insurance reserves the rights to decline any transactions.
  • Co-op Insurance withholds the right to deny payments if sales are deemed to be illegitimate or fraudulent in any way.
  • Should your cashback fail to track automatically, please submit a 'Missing Cashback' claim within 100 days of your order.
