We placed an order of just over £100 with Very, with cashback due of around 10%. The cashback didn't track. Then they couldn't find the order. Then, they COULD find the order but with a different value. Then they couldn't find the order again. The claim was sitting in the background of my Topcashback account for years; I would do my bit and then wait the months for Very to come back with their latest often contradictory response. I gave up in the end! In terms of delivery and quality, this was fine and met my expectations. If you are thinking of ordering with them and have worked out that, with the cashback, it will be fairly good value, it's well worth shopping around first as the products they sell are often widely available at a lower price anyway ... and, in my experience, receiving cashback from Very is hit and miss!

Very have reneged on the cashback offer they recently promoted (10% for new customers) and have refused my claim. I will probably give this merchant a miss in future; there are plenty of others offering similar products who deserve my custom.

Cashback not tracked on three separate transactions. Cashback declined on three separate occasions. Not happy; don't bother trying to get cashback from Very through TCB.

Very are a disgrace ordered ipad paid full price expecting 10% back for new customers then say I used voucher codes or different referral site when questioned about it,they hid behind customer confidentiality would answer question from tcb or from myself hang you heads in shame very.

A ridiculously bad online company. Ordered a Desktop Tower with a high spec for £199. Order was placed, delivery date provided. Then, I just logged into my account to check status on the off chance and noticed it said 'Sorry, your order has been declined'. Rang Very, with me being VERY annoyed that no-one had notified me of this, gave my details to the operator including my account number, and he said 'oh, the account is closed'!!!! Again, no-one notified me of this. Absolutely no reason given for this. In reality, what I believe has happened is that they have advertised the wrong product at the wrong price, and instead of acknowledging the mistake, they just wash their hands of it by closing the account. Would NEVER touch the company again.

I spent £414 at Very on a bed and sofa in September 2013, with the promise of 10% cashback, so around £41. It took months and months of me chasing/poking/messaging in the claim to be told Topcashback/ Very didn't record the transaction successfully, I would avoid Very like the plague, I contacted them regarding the bed I was sent not matching the image on the website, and they refused to refund or exchange it so I cancelled the order of the sofa. I will never use Topcashback for large amounts of cashback again, since I am also waiting on £100 promised when I took out my EE Broadband in September 2013 (no doubt this will not come through either even though I followed instructions to the letter and have been paying for my broadband every month with direct debit).

I bought a laptop from Very, last year! I am still waiting for my cashback, I've put in a claim and still no result! I am very happy with the laptop and I think their pay in 3 instalments with no interest applied system is excellent. So if I need to buy a large purchase, I will probably use them again, but sort your cashback system out! Faster paying they most certainly are not!

Fair play to Topcash back going after a non received claim for us. But it was Very that was playing hardball. We bought a product from them via TCB as a new customer. They then cancelled our order due to wanting to do credit checks. After that we had to replace the order ourselves, which then classed it as a 2nd order !!!! - And guess what no payout. !!! Beware !!!!

****BE WARY OF THE CASH BACK CLAIMS **** AFTER 7 MONTHS OF WAITING & NUDGES TO TOPCASHBACK, VERY HAVE REFUSED TO PAY OUT SAYING I USED A DIFFERENT AVENUE OTHER THAN TOPCASHBACK TO PURCHASE. FUNNY HOW THE SAME THING HAPPENED WITH THEIR SISTER COMPANY ISME WHO ALSO REFUSED TO PAY OUT ! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME !!!

I purchased specifically to get the cashback. It was an expensive item and once again they have declined the cashback. Topcashback can not give me details fully due to data protection. Not blaming topcashback but Very have done this a few times from the looks of the reviews. AVOID

Made a purchase with Very Last November 2013 as a new customer, order went through fine, delivered and paid for. Had to put a claim in for the £4.45 cashback. Received a support message today from cash back saying it had been declined! this is my response, really not happy! "I`m very upset that VERY have declined my cashback, and I do not understand the reason of "order did not pass credit check" Surely if my order was accepted, delivered and paid for that means I have been accepted? Sounds like they have just decided they do not wish to pay my cashback owed to me. I think you should reconsider offering cashback for Very if this is what happens!"

VERY are VERY bad! ** Beware! ** This company has a very bad business practice to prevent them from having to pay you your cashback: After clicking through Top Cashback to Very in January, I opened up a new customer account and placed my first order for a new PC, just over £500. Cashback should have been about 7%. I had a call from Very customer service the next day to confirm my order. Unbeknown to me at that time, they had sneakily closed my original order and put the PC on a new order number. 6 months later they are denying it was the order I placed with them through TopCashback - which it was! I believe they have a practice of doing this deliberately to avoid the cashback pay out. Be Warned!

Very avoid giving you the cashback that you're entitled to, I won't be shopping with them again. I purchased a pair of expensive shoes from them purely on the basis that I would get cashback which would've made the purchase more affordable overall. After well over 2 years they've declined my cashback, if they'd have done that straight away I would've sent the shoes back and bought elsewhere!

Cashback didn't track. 5 months after raising the claim Very/TCB came up with the reply as 'Another marketing channel was credited with the sale'. This is untrue as I went to very straight from TCB. Just an excuse to not pay cashback, don't shop with Very.

Members be aware: I went through TC to Very in November 2013 and purchased £75 worth of items as a new customer and as it was not made clear on the website at the time of purchase, I used the Very new customer one time only voucher code so that I could get £15 off goods for £75 and over thinking that I was still entitled to my cashback for clicking through to the merchant because all new Very customers are entitled to use new customer voucher codes approved by Very. I had to do a manual claim for cashback and constantly had to chase this up. After 7 months of hassle I was informed today that my cashback was declined because I used my new Very voucher code which I was offered as a new customer at the time of purchase. I telephoned customer services and they told me that it should be made clear on Top Cashback that you cannot receive cashback AND use your new customer voucher code when making a purchase it is one or the other!

I shopped with Very in November 2013 and to this day I am still trying to chase up the manual claim for cashback not being tracked and declined for no apparent reason. I was a new customer - spent a lot of money on my first purchase and I did not use any unauthorised voucher codes. I have had to chase this up so many times that I am now having to complain directly to Very to try to get the cashback that I am owed.

I made TWO separate purchases, one beginning of April for £69 and the other a month later for £599 ..... despite my due diligence, it seemsI am not getting any Cashback on either of my purchases because they didn't track.. even though I was VERY careful (no pun intended!) making sure I had cleared cookies etc etc... I wouldnt mind but they both for fairly large amounts... and also I took 'screen grabs' as PROOF that the transaction had taken place.... I have written to TCB/lodged a ticket but despite me saying this they don't seem interested/have not asked to see the screen grab I took as proof of what I was claiming. Not happy as I spent quite a bit of money & wasn't expecting such an outcome... esp as they are not even requesting to see my 'proof' of purchase.
