Very annoyed & disappointed with Virgin & will avoid any dealings with this company again. 8 days ago on 29 March, I purchased the £10 per month SIM only deal with 6GB data/2500 mins/unlimited texts. I clicked through in the normal way via TCB. I cleared my cookies first, but my order did not track for the £17 cashback although it is acknowledged by TCB, so I wasn't unduly worried as I thought it would appear once I received the SIM card & activated my new a/c with Virgin. When I placed my order & completed all the info on the Virgin site, I immediately received 2 emails & followed those instructions. The 2nd welcome email asked me to log in to my a/c, but I kept getting a message to try later as my a/c was being verified. To date no SIM card has arrived. I phoned last week & was told the delay was due to Easter. Today after spending 1.5 hours speaking to 6 different people & being passed from pillar to post, they found my details & I passed the security question/password etc I'd set up. However, they say I do not have an a/c, didn't seem to know who TCB were & told me that the offer I did is finished. Also, tried to blame me for dealing with TCB & not going direct to them. They have only offered me a much worse deal (with obviously no cashback) which I have declined. Finally I asked to speak to a Manager & asked her to honour the deal I applied for. She said they can't do this. I am left with a mobile that doesn't work as my previous contract with old company ended 31/3. I had even been considering moving my TV/broadband & landline to Virgin, but have now just seen the recent Which survey which has reported the highest number of complaints to any phone company has been to Virgin Media. After my experience, I am not surprised! They will never be getting my business in future now for any of their services! I actually would have given them no stars rating, if I was allowed to!
