we brought some LED bulbs to replace all our homes traditional bulbs to start saving on our electric bills, not sure why there are some negative reviews, I have had nothing but great customers service, and the bulbs are great, really great quality 5/5"

I want to share my experience with this company, i was feeling hesitation as i saw too many bad reviews, but when i talk with customer service for further information, i feel some trust because the customer service was good enough to be satisfied.
I bought 3 bulbs for testing the company, good arrived in 3 days after the order. i ll surely use ledhut again for further order of bulbs and tubes for my under constructed plaza.

Be very careful when ordering from this company. I have had a few order going ok but my last order appears to be a second hand unit. The instructions are missing, as is the warranty card and the fixings. I contacted them but they ignore my request for the fixings, although they have emailed the paperwork.
I do not think it is too much to ask when purchasing a NEW item that everything is included in the box.

Superb products (lost one star as one item on back order). Great customer service (lost one star as they are great when you contact them but not so good at being pro-active). 5 stars for everything else as order placed 11 Oct and 20.2% cashback payable 12 days later. Sweet!

Buy once, get spammed forever! I bought once from them, now I get constant spam from them (near-daily), their unsubscribe doesn't work, they ignore email requests to unsubscribe, and nobody answers their phone.

I had a truly terrible experience with this retailer. After ordering and receiving two identical bulbs i discovered that one was either defective or was not what i ordered (it wouldn't dim while the other 'identical' bulb would). I used the retailer's 'Contact Us' form to get in contact and find out how to get it replaced. The customer service and attention to detail from this point on was truly abysmal. The agent had not read my message at all, instead just giving me some generic guff about dim-able light bulbs and how they won't work with all dimmer switches (despite my original message stating one as working fine), i replied to the message to state that my message had been misunderstood, this reply was ignored and the ticket/case classed as resolved! A few days later i used the form on the website again to reiterate my problem (pasting in my previous email) to have pretty much an identical message back, i again replied to this with a more blunt tone only to again get nothing back. This process has now gone on for two weeks and i've raised 5 tickets with them, each time pasting in my previous responses and each time the staff not paying any attention to me problem, just pasting in generic replies and offering no reason or apology as to why they are so incompetent! I won't be using this retailer again.

The service I received was terrible.
I ordered 32 bulbs from LED Hut Ltd. 3 of the bulbs arrived broken and whilst trying to dispose of the broken bulbs my wife cut her hand on the glass fragments.
I emailed them asking for replacements to be sent out and they asked me to return the damaged bulbs. I wrote back saying the bulbs were broken and therefore have been disposed off. They did not offer to re-imburse me for the three borken items or even offer to provide postage for me to return the bulbs. Even if we had not disposed off the bulbs, why should I incur addtional postage costs to return the damaged bulbs?
They not only refused to provide replacements, but also refused a refund.
The customer service was very rude to me and when I spoke up about how I felt about the company and the service I received, they emailed me back saying that my account had been blacklisted as I was rude to the customer service department.
I would NEVER use them again let alone recommend their service to friends and family.
The customer is always right and in my humble opinion they dealt with my query in a condescending and arrogant fashion.
Terrible, just appalling service.

As much as I look online LED HUT have the best value lights on line.
2nd time I've used them after replacing my kitchen lights with 7 new GU10's.
With rising costs to heat and light my home this is a no brainer IMO.

Still no cash back? Paid in October and confirmed but still waiting and its now Feb! Had to return 5 of the bulbs ordered, sent back but had to ring several times to chase to get replacements. Quizzed me over the phone over my set up but all was installed professionally. The advertised 5 year warranty is a bit of a joke. You have to register the lights after you have received them, strange as they already have your details as you are buying direct from them! I stumbled across this information on the website by chance, its not clearly displayed and you are not told this at anytime through checkout or after the transaction. Its purely to reduce the number of 5 year warranties they have to give, no other possible reason for this apart from reducing their liability to the customer! This is clearly not a good business. You have been warned.

Purchase tracked promptly on 16 October 2013 but since then ...... silence.
Have only just started using the GU10s but no criticisms of their brightness or angle of the beam and so far no failures over the couple of weeks I've been using them.

The products I've had so far (several GU10) appear good, no problems so far.
The thing I would point out is that what sounds like a great 5 year guarantee (which is only on certain products now - not all) is a bit dodgey.
What isn't prominently displayed when you make your purchase is the fact you have to register your products for the extra guarantee - otherwise normal UK 12 months protection applies.
That in itself wouldn't be so bad if it was a simple registration process, after all, you've ordered them online, given all your details already, and can review those details by going back on their site. So registration should be a simple case of going online and ticking a box or something similar yes? Unfortunately no! You have to go to their website, download a form, print it out, complete the form by hand, then post it in to them!!
It seems to me a system designed to minimise the number of people who actually get the full 5 years! Smelling a rat, I went through all this process, I even had a chat with them to ask if you are notified once the registration is complete, otherwise how would you know if your registration form got "lost in the post" - they assured me they would notify me. To be doubly safe I sent it "Signed for 1st Class" delivery so I could be certain it wasn't "lost in the post", that arrived 2 months ago. After a month I contacted them and they assured me they would let me know once it had been processed (how long does it take to process 1 A4 piece of paper??). As of today I still haven't received confirmation.
Make of that as you will!

Never had anything but excellent service from LED Hut, the only problem is the cash back tracking at a purchase price less than paid, even when VAT and delivery is removed. Why is this? Other members have noted this also so surely it needs looking in to!

After placing my order and receiving an email to say that one of the four elements was out of stock, but stock was expected and my order would be dispatched when it arrived, I have now had a further email to tell me that two out of the four elements are out of stock and my order for them has been cancelled. I will now receive just 50% of my original order. Not good, time to find a dependable retailer.

LED Hut seem to have a habit of advertising products that are out-of-stock. They will allow the order to be placed and then email to say that there will be a delay with dispatch of the entire order. A pity they don't follow the practice of other retailers and send the in-stock items immediately and follow up with the rest when it comes into stock.

I've replaced all my compact fluorescent lights in my lounge. What a difference, no more waiting until the lights reach full brightness room much brighter and I'm saving even more on electricity bills.
Also replaced four 250W floodlights around the garden with LED floodlights. Really impressed with the amount of light I'm getting and a massive saving on the amount of power each floodlight is using.

Recently I bought 12 3watt E14 candle shape bulbs - 40 watt equivalent. Total paid was £105 - what a rip off.
First, the bulbs are nowhere near as bright as a 40watt lamp
Secondly, two have already exploded the instant I switched on after 4 weeks of normal use. They have burn marks at the base and the plastic top cover on one flew across the living room just missing the 3 year old grand-daughter.
These are obviously cheap imports and I recommend you keep well clear of this outfit.
When I asked for my money back they would only replace the two (refused to take back the rest) if I would post the remains back to them. I expect they want to bury the evidence.
Will try to seek help from trading standards - this outfit should be prevented from trading.
