Another one of our members says the cashback offered made taking out AA breakdown value for money, while others state their cashback was paid out within the timeframe or had tracked within minutes of making a purchase, with one commenting: “Not the first time I have used TCB (TopCashback) with AA - 100% record, no issues.”

Customers leaving reviews on Trustpilot, where they have a three-star rating, praise them for being prompt and careful, as well as attending call-outs and fixing problems quickly, with one saying they “never failed to impress”.

Someone describes how they had only called for advice about an issue and the AA sent someone out to fix the problem, while another says their car was back on the road within 40 minutes of calling for assistance. Another positive seems to be the fact that membership gives you discounts, while you can gain access to offers via the website.

It seems that the advertised cash back amount is completely wrong. if you get a quote outside the Top-Cashback site the policy amount is around £20 lower. So the advertised cash back amount is actually closer to £40 not the advertised £60 Wish this was clearer in the detail

Waited 6 months, still no cashback. Allegedly Topcashback are following it up, but no progress has been made. Avoid if you want the cashback. I would have gone to Green Flag if I'd had known the promise of cashback was fraudulent, but I will certainly be cancelling the AA at the end of the year.

Policy taken out July 2013 cashback payment 26 weeks, nearly a year on battling with TopCashBack and still not cash back. Every time I contact Top Cash Back all I am told to do is wait......wait until the policy expires and I can no longer obtain the cash back. Don't bother and save yourself the emails and use another cash back provider. I will be closing my account with this rubbish cash back website. Still not cash back and a complete waste of the customers time.

Arranged the Breakdown cover on 9/2/14 to take effect from 14/3/14. £72.45 tracked within 24 hours. I have been reading other customers reviews over the past couple of months, and felt a little concerned as most were negative. However the full amount became Payable on 7/6/14 which was a pleasant surprise. I genuinely feel sorry for those who have been waiting months for your Cashback - hope it arrives eventually? But on my own experience I can only recommend the AA Breakdown on Topcashback as £72.45 against the annual price paid of £194 is a big bonus!!

An update on my previous comment. I've just seen that the promised £72.45 has become payable. I was very nervous because of all the negative comments re AA cashback and it took almost the full 60 days to move from pending. However, the estimated time for payout was 60 days (so not far out at all) and I've received the full amount I was expecting. So may be I should have been a little more patient ....

I purchased breakdown cover for the sum of £172 with the offer of £60 cash back. This was on The 28th Of April 2013. I am still waiting nearly 13 months later. I have sent numerous nudges to remind Top Cashback to chase up my earnings but to no avail.All I am told is to bear with us a little longer. I feel that the AA are advertising falsely and as such I am inclined to contact the appropriate authorities.

Whilst I haven't been waiting as long as others for news on my AA Cashback (almost 2 months) I'm still at pending stage and can't help but look at all the negative feedback and wonder if I will ever get my money. Payment in 60 days is not likely to happen! As with others, I purchased the cover in good faith believing that I was going to get good breakdown cover for 3 cars at a good price. Unfortunately my first experience of topcashback is not great at the moment and I can't see how to chase for an update. I paid in full and really do feel misled at the moment.

Hi there, You will be able to view the estimated payable speed for your transaction on your account by going to your Earnings page and by selecting to view your 'cashback by date', Please be aware that these are just estimates based on the previous payout speed of the merchant so it can on occasion take longer for the payment to come through, however, you should see your transaction start to progress in due course. I purchased breakdown cover from the AA in August 2013. Though it showed as pending quite quickly, with an estimated payable date as 26 weeks, it is now May 2014, and it is still only pending. It is not even showing as confirmed. I am really disappointed in how long the AA seems to be taking to pay this back. My breakdown will be due for renewal before long, and I am loathed to go back to them knowing they still owe me £30+ of cashback! I don't know if there is a way that Top Cashback can find out what is going on?

Only reason i chose AA over RAC was the £79 cash back promised. Now it has been well over 7-8 months and it still hasn't gone past the pending stage. Topcashback can't really help make them pay up. Would never take a cover from them again

We paid £169 for the full breakdown cover in August last year. Firstly and most importantly, we took the cover out based upon the breakdown service, not the cashback (although it was a slight influence). We've been with lots of different breakdown companies who have all been good, but these guys are definitely the best and most efficient. The cashback was £69, which I had to claim as it didn't track, but as usual, the TCB guys were spot on and kept me regularly informed up to today, when the £69 became payable. I understand why it took 7 months as I have now made 7 months of direct debit payments. Pleased all round.

WISH I had read this forum before choosing AA for my breakdown cover. Like others, I have languished at 'pending' for the last 8 mths. Eventually lodged a support ticket to be told by TCB that AA have been taking ages ... not to give up hope! Very next day they got bk in touch to say the cashback has been declined! No reason! I checked that I had fulfilled all the T's & C's (I had) so looks like I will never get this cashback. I feel cheated too since there were cheaper products available but only the AA cashback made their product the best value! Not impressed AA!

Don't give up too easily folks. Yes you can't lodge a missing cash back claim because it's payable in more than 100 days, but for that very same reason you can instead lodge a support ticket say 4-6 weeks after it was due. This is what I did and TCB sorted within 10 days. Read the support ticket rules and know your stuff, then use this to pick the right moment to involve TAB.

So a update is due! Some after posting here in Feb regards my outstanding cash back claim from the AA, and yet another email to TCB - I can now say it has finally appeared in my account!!! Unfortunately it's a somewhat lower amount than I had expected from the transaction, however it's better than nothing!! As for the AA cover, can't fault it yet - just a shame the cash back isn't as quick as the patrols.

37 weeks after my purchase my TCB is still pending. So long ago now TCB will not let me put a claim in. Check the stats out, N\A .... That is because they no longer pay out. Check the forum out, lots of annoyed customers... Do not buy because of the TCB.... You will not get it.

My AA cashback was never confirmed. The twenty six weeks waiting time has passed AND the topcashback page to make a claim for lost payments wont let me put in transaction date because its 'more than a hundred days'!! I am NOT a happy customer!

Not the first time AA has failed to pay up. This is awful, it's bordering false advertising. It has been almost a year now and I've yet to hear a peep out of the AA as to why they've not paid cashback. Take my advice, just don't bother. If you see a deal or voucher code elsewhere, use it! Don't rely on getting cashback from the AA because they just won't pay.

I've taken out several AA products, all of which offered cashback. I have yet to receive cashback from any of the products taken out. Since I joined the scheme several years ago, I have had no problems with any other merchants. Unfortunately the AA has let the side down again.

Need to add the TCB site defaults to order reviews in star order which gives a different picture regarding satisfaction of this produce. If this has such a high level of non payment as appears to be the case from the recent reviews this product should be removed.

This cashback is a total joke - purchased AA product June 2013 - yes 8 months ago - still showing as pending so nothing that can be done. I have switched to other cashback providers until I see if this is ever resolved/paid. Based on my ecperience I would avoid and would not recommend. This transaction destroyed my faith in TCB. I suggest anyone considering this offer reads the comments on the forums first before making a decision.
