Someone describes how they had only called for advice about an issue and the AA sent someone out to fix the problem, while another says their car was back on the road within 40 minutes of calling for assistance. Another positive seems to be the fact that membership gives you discounts, while you can gain access to offers via the website.

No sign whatsoever of cashback. Opened a claim ticket with Topcashback giving all the details of the transaction including membership number. Topcashback's response? - Can you please provide your membership number in relation to this purchase!!! Can only say DO NOT expect to receive cashback from any AA purchases through Topcashback! VERY poor experience!

Purchased breakdown cover in January - Top Cash Back site tracked, but no tracking confirmation from the AA even though it was done directly through the Top Cash Back link. 5 months on, queries with customer services who just simply state that a 'batch query' has been sent to the merchant, with no individual contact - and still no cash back. Exceptionally disappointed as followed all the 'extra' instructions (even thought I've never had a problem with any other cash back before). Also the service I received from AA was less than satisfactory, I would not like to have the same AA man again, at all. He was off hand, asking me too many questions about the problem which I had NO idea what it was (that was why he was there - and I had to repeat myself numerous times), he wasn't forthcoming with any information and actually left me standing at the side of the road in freezing weather while he climbed back into his van without telling me what was going on. He was then too concerned about losing time on other jobs to really bother about completing mine, but did eventually follow me to the car dealer, where again he was pushy with them over time, and then with me regarding a product that he tried to sell me instead of the dealer. I know it was a one off, but it left a bad taste in my mouth, coupled with the lack of any response or cash back from them, I would NOT recommend.

Cashback didn't even track, have had a claim submitted since January, there has been no update. Am surprised that TopCashBack still advertise AA Breakdown on their website, when judging by other comments which I've just stumbled across (as reviews are sorted by highest rating first!) they clearly do not pay out. They should be removed from this website. Do not expect any cashback to be received from them. My dad went with RAC at the same time and has since received his cashback without any issues. I won't bother going with the AA next time, I'll just join RAC. This turned out to be expensive breakdown cover!!

Im afraid im not happy at all, bought AA cover on 5th December 12 specifically through Top Cashback. For £19 cashback and still haven't had it. I emailed Top cashback to query this on April 01st and they seem to have a problem getting the money back and told me it wouldnt be long! Its now 16th May 13!

Tracked almost immediately. When I first bought the product said payment within 12 weeks. When it reached the 12 weeks it was changed to 26 weeks. The 26 week period ended yesterday and I am still waiting!

Update on previous comment - purchased last November and did not track so I raised a ticket. Finally - and very suddenly - the correct amount became confirmed and payable within a week or so of each other. Happy to receive the cashback finally but not impressed with the time taken to settle this - almost 6 months. Would definitely use cashback on AA again, but only if I wasn't relying on the cashback as it is definitely not guaranteed.

Come on TCB, get rid of the AA!! They are seriously taking the mickey now. More and more annoyed customers and no action by yourselves to stop them having free, misleading advertising. I have been complaining for months now and customers are still be ripped off!!!!!!

Disappointing: Breakdown cover originally tracked with cashback, which a few months later reverted to 0. No explanation was offered, and the AA have not responded to Topcashback. Been waiting for a year now, so doesn't look too positive. I'll use the RAC next time!

It's a CON....they take you business then don't pay out and take so long to tell you it is then too late to make a claim. STAY AWAY FROM THE AA

Disgusting....waited on my £70.70 cashback, the iste said it could take up to 16 weeks (112 days). However now showing 0.00 payable with no reason. Topcashback saying it can not chase as it is over 100 days. I will NEVER use the AA or this site again when I have had my other pay outs

Purchased this in October 2012 and it didn't track. Despite raising a complaint and topcashback doing as much as possible i still haven't got anywhere 6 months later. i won't be buying from the AA again and expect any cashback.

If you're actually looking to receive any cashback then I wouldn't bother going with any offer from The AA. It's been over half a year and I still haven't received anything. Not only that, but topcashback's support in trying to resolve why it's taken over half a year to see any cashback has been vague and disinterested from the outset. I wouldn't recommend this offer to anyone.

Like many other reviewers, my purchase was on 16th September 2012, at the time the tracking was at 14 weeks, its been almost 28 weeks and it is still pending, Top Cashback told me they were having problems with the merchant and to wait another 3-4 weeks. It wouldn't be a big problem had the cashback been low value, however it is £42.42

I chose AA this time as the offer for cashback was far better than RAC, who I usually use. I also chose the same for home insurance for the same reasons. However, The AA have not paid out on either cashback claims, despite Topcashback trying to reolcve it. Therefore this will be my first and last experience with the AA. Should not be offering deals to lure ciustoimers in and then not paying out.

Absolute RUBBISH!!! NO CASHBACK 6 months plus and not even confirmed my cashback. Do not buy AA breakdown cover as its more expensive and you will NEVER recieve the cash back.

It is horrible, it is going to complete 1 year. Still AA not approving my cash back and still in Pending. If they don't want to give cash back, it is better to remove from TopCashBack. I am running behind customer care past 4 months, no progress/ followup from AA. Annoying!
