Just about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rude, incompetent staff whos left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Messed me around with an order that was not dispatched without telling me it was cancelled. Spent ages on the phone to these muppets and never got a straight answer. Despite making my "marketing preferences" clear that they may not do so, I have been spammed by argos, clearly violating Section 11 of The Data Protection Act 1998. Completely untrustworthy - plus, argos are not cheap, with many items being charged at higher than RRP. Look around and you'll see what I mean. Another sly thing argos do is buy up middle and decent brand names for electronics, transfer them onto inferior rubbish from the far east so you don't always get what you think you are going to get. DO NOT TRUST ARGOS - THEY STINK

I have just ordered one item and they have been good, phoned to let me know when goods will be delivered either morning or afternoon, I chose the afternoon delivery option.

Had mixed experience with Argos, one transaction tracked but another one (of higher amount!) did not and despite raising a missing cashback, a year later still not received it. :(

Cashback did not track, submitted manual claim which they declined saying order number did not exist, despite the fact it is the one they provided. I noticed on other documentation that the order number was formatted slightly differently to where I originally got it, so I omitted the dash as on the other document and submitted again. It was still declined with them saying they could not trace the transaction. This was for a furniture order so would have been a decent amount of cashback so I'm not impressed. Looking at another of the comments it seems I'm not the only one who has had problems with them.

After waiting a few months for my enquiry as my purchase did not show in my account I have now been informed that there was no record of my transaction with TCB via Argos. How hard can it be to track? You click through and buy. Now TCB are saying it would help if there was an order number with my claim?? I put an order number in with my claim so do not know why this would be asked for when it is already in the claim. Not happy with this merchant and from what others are saying it is a re-occuring problem. Why do TCB insist on using merchants that continually dissapoint us with cashback?

Tracked quickly, and is currently pending. I dont think the amount of cashback with Argos is huge, and with a company like Argos, you do get what you pay for!

I bought a lot from Argos when I moved house, all of it via TopCashBack, and all of it I had to chase the cash back. I've basically not been impressed with Argos' fulfilment of my cash back, although the products I ordered are great and arrived quickly. My advice would be to try Homebase as they have all the same stuff but might be more reliable!

Eerything to do with this purchase went without a hitch. The item arrived, in good working order, very quickly, on the day and within the time time promised. The Cashback has appeared in the 'pending' column, so I am very satisfied.

Made two purchases via TCB in July, never saw a penny in cashback. Did not track, and enquired with TCB for one of the purchases but still under the "waiting for retailer" status. Not using again considering the shoddy ordering system that keeps breaking and spits out errors right after you click to confirm your order, the long wait on customer service phone number (because they never emailed me the order confirmation despite saying they would within 24 hours, so I had no idea if I was even getting my order!), and the slow unreliable delivery service.
