They are very reliable but if you book through topcashback they are around 7% more expensive so you actually are not gaining anything. A swizz I would say.

Didn't track but i put in a claim and it appeared , overall pleased , unlike the hire company ,Drivalia in Alicane , gave us the REALLY hard sell treatment and when we said we didn't want the extra glass and wheel insurance , the woman in the office threatened we would be liable for the first 8000 Euro's and in fact we had only third party cover , even though it said we had no excess full cover on our document ! , shame as the car was great , as were the other staff .

I rented a car from Toulouse through Budget and was offered an upgrade as the band of car I had chosen short of availability. As I was happy to accept an automatic, I was given a nicer and more economical hybrid. No complaints from the service of auto europe or of Budget, although the cashback has a lot to be desired. The rental was in August and while it's been confirmed we're well into December now and it's still not payable! On that basis, I'm not so impressed with the cashback part of the deal.

I have been and still am renting cars a few times a year with auto europe and never had any cashback issues, but for the whole of 2014 every single transaction was untracked and when raised and queried with them declined. so be careful, do not use their services because of the cashback only as you'll most likely not get it. disappointing

Having booked the hire car in February, picked it up on 10th July and waited until 4th September to see if my CashBack tracked, it didn't. Hiding behind the excuse of topcashback not being identified as the last referral. I am a regular topcashback user and this has never been an issue previously. I only chose Auto Europe because the cashback made them best value. What a con. If you do your sums to get the best deal possible, don't factor the cashback into your equations as you probably won't get it.

Won't bother booking through these for a cashback deal in future. I booked in Sept 2013, picked the car up in Dec 2013 and I still haven't received cashback. I had no issues with the booking or receiving of the car, however. TopCashback haven't covered themselves in glory either - despite several nudges, I have received no replies or information.

Do not use Auto-Europe. They got us a deal with Goldcar in Mallorca who charged us nearly Eur100 for a compulsory tank of petrol for a Ford Fiesta and made a charge for insurance even though we insisted we had our own. Goldcar would not accept a report of damage on picking up the car and would not sign it in on return so you have no protection if they come after you later for damage or loss. I've written 15 emails to auto-Europe about this rental and they have been useless - lots of empty American words about customer service but zero meaningful action. Months later I'm still waiting for a corrected invoice from Goldcar but Auto-Europe have stopped responding. Very poor indeed.
