Terrible! Waste of time, waste of gift cards.
I got two gift cards to buy a hoover from Currys. A number of years ago they completely forgot to deliver a dishwasher and it took quite a while to get my money back. I vowed never to shop with them again. However, with an additional 8% on top of rewards, it was too good a deal. Silly, greedy me. The cards were issued within a couple of days, but the website wasn't working properly, it wasn't taking payment.
I figured the glitch would get fixed and tried repeatedly over the course of a few days when suddenly it kept telling me my cards had an insufficient balance. I then checked the gift card balances only to find they'd been wiped. Contacted the webchat peeps who denied that the site was having any issues at all. After two calls with customer services over 3 days Currys refunded the cards so I tried again to make my purchase the hoover only to find it was out of stock. So I picked the next best option, and guess what? My gift cards were wiped again! Back in calls with their customer service (most of whom again, tried to convince me there was no problem with the system) I now need to wait another 48 hours for them to refund the gift cards again. In the meantime, my second choice of hoover is no longer on sale, nor is it available for delivery. So, after a whole week of trying to buy a vacuum cleaner including 6 lengthy calls having to repeat long gift card numbers over and over and over, I am waiting again for gift cards total value of £220, which I will not be able to use for the product I want, even though it is available from a number of retailers. Ideally, I now just want the gift cards cancelled and the money refunded to my reward wallet so I can use it with a retailer that actually functions. I've raised a ticket with Topcashback and am hoping they will sort something out. Also, I really need a hoover!
